Success percentage in IM

There are many gurus and coaching programs in the market which you may associated to, can you recall estimate how many percent on those participants really succeed? Understand each individual may have differences in defining "success", in here, let's define as earning above of what they may be getting should they continue their 9-5 job.

Thanks for your sharing in advance.

best regards,

I don't think this kind of thing is easily quantifiable and even if it was, I doubt it would be that useful to do so. Your own personal success is all that matters. Find what's right for you on the basis of your own needs and requirements. What worked for someone else may not for you and vice versa.

The success rate is actually.... Well, it's easy to figure out. You just take the square root of who cares what other people are doing and divide it by worry about your own business.

You can't really get a "success" percentage until you know what the "actually trying and not just pretending to try" percentage is.

Oh, and EBR is 100% correct. Who cares what the number is? It could be 10%, 93%, 47.1%, or whatever. Those numbers have a 0% impact on MY success rate, and will only have an effect on your rate if you allow them to.

    All the best,

Actually success does not depend on coaching or following a guru,
it's up to you ,if you dedicated for it no matter success is yours,
    other wise nothing .
so don't think about the rate just follow the way to achieve it.

There will always be challenges no matter how successful your coach is.

What one person sees may look totally different to someone else.

You can be given a particular strategy that looks amazing and then you find something has changed that doesn't allow it to work anymore!

As in terms of measuring success you can always test to see how much time you are putting into your business and decide whether your profits are showing the time spent is worth it.

All the best and wish you success with your future efforts!

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I think, if I were to put this in a very broad, crude and ball park figure sense then there'd probably be about a 5% (or even lower) success rate depending on your criteria and adding a bit of my criteria which is performance within the first 6 months. The success rate MAY increase to 10% if the scope would be for a year. And to make things short, the success rate is indeed low (given, of course, your criteria).

For those starting with IM, it is indeed very hard to par with the income you could or are getting from a day job except in cases where the person starting in IM is a bit of a genius blessed with luck and acquired a substantial amount of connections before starting in IM. Luck is a big factor you know (some people will disagree but I believe it really is, opportunities aren't always sought after but just appear out of nowhere) and luck is different from one person to another and from one time period to another.

Just a word of advice, if you (not really about you but for other people who might read this) already have a day job (or even a night time one as long as it's stable), don't quit it just yet when you've decided to go for IM. Manage your time better and do your best to run them both. Only decide to quit your day job when you're already earning significantly more that your day job and you have savings to last you at least 6 months without any source of income at all. This is just to be on the safe side because many IM starters think they could handle the risk and apparently they can't.

    Good Luck!
