Anyone Tried Launching On a Friday? How's It Compared To Other Days?

Was wondering if anyone has launched a product on Friday.

Is it a day to be avoided or it outperforms other days?

      I'd avoid a Friday. People are wrapping up business looking forward to the weekend.

      Many people aren't geared into the business mindset on Mondays too. I'd suggest launching midweek.

      That's just complete assumption mind you!

    I think that Tuesday or Wednesday would be the best bet for a launch.

      As to me, I never launch my products on Friday. I've tested many times and it's not for me. Honestly, it's a waste of time and money. I'm more successful on Tuesday and Wednesday, the time when buyers are active.

    Launching a product is same as sending a newsletter in some respects. If you send out the newsletter on a friday to a work email address then it most probably will to get read. But if you send it on a wednesday or Thursday then you will have the highest open rates.

    So in short, launch your product in the middle of the week.

    I have to agree with the others. In addition, launching on a Monday tends to put your mail amongst the clutter of how ever many emails the person has received over the weekend along with the start of week rush of emails.

  • Notice that "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday seem to be popular amongst the answers given so far in this post, depending on who you ask. To add to the confusion, weekends work best for us. Each potential customer on the other end of your marketing strategy will either have a job, no job, run a business, no business, have more money to spend on Friday via paycheck, or no money on Friday as they get paid on Thurday's and just finished paying all their bills, and or are at home on weekends looking for something to spend money on, or are working on weekends.
