Can anyone suggest a decent online business coach, I am not talking about an ebook or a system for success or any part of the external business, I really need a successful online business innovator, a one on one coach that wants to share their experience, have fun sharing their experience and get monetary value for their one on one coaching a few hours a week.

If you know any really good people in the industry that can coach please do let me know. Steve

One on one coaching is expensive Steve.

It can be expensive depending on who you're being coached by. I help noobs focus and find their niche and biz model, as well as "veterans" who are getting stuck in a rut. Jamie Lewis is a friend of mine and I know he's great at coaching too...although he was planning on getting out of it. Are you serious about getting something going online? Are you serious about working with someone 1 on 1? Lots of people are all talk and no follow through.

There is Dr Ben who I know is good and also Alex Jeffereys.

I would look for a mentor in something specific that you want to learn about.

I also have to Alex Jeffereys coaching the one that i use is marketing with alex his teaching style is so diffrent from some of the other coaching i have purchased on this forumn. His style is diffrent because he teaches you how to run your business which is the main thing we want to know as we can always outsource the structure of it and really focus on what makes the money.

There are many coaches online who can help you succeed and reach success quicker. But how much are you willing to spend to receive coaching from a top successful marketer? That's the real question.

Your requirement for prior success disqualifies any names that will be mentioned here. These kind of threads fill up with recommendations for people that weren't making any money online, so one day they decided to write an ebook about how to make millions online. The truth is, coaching as it is defined in this corner of the internet is a one-on-one version of all those crappy "make money in your sleep" ebooks out there. It's all done by the same people.

Go find a site in the Alexa top 3,000 that you wish was yours and ask the owner to help you out for X hours per week over the phone, skype or whatever. Few people want to train competition in exactly how to move in on them though. So expect to pay $50 to $250+ per hour for the basics if they will even do it. Just understand that nobody is going to hand you the keys to the castle regardless of what you are paying.

Williamrs and Kenster are the best coaches on WF. There are hundreds of coaches online but ultimately you have to look at what exactly you need.

If you want to avail of forum coaching you have many to choose from including the War Room here which is the best.

There are also specialized private forums which charge a monthly fee but will enable you to get the best guidance and trade secrets in a number of areas like PPC, Facebook, media buying etc.

    Dude, forget about coaching altogether.
Coaches = guys who couldn't cut it in the business who try to make money by becoming a coach instead.

Forget that. Just continue to build up your knowledge and go through the trial and error period like every other successful businessperson. Coaching is a waste of time and money.

    catch 22.

The ones that do are doing it and realize notihng lasts forever. Like finding gold coins on A BEACH. You;'d simply grab as many as you can before the masses find it and it;s game over. RIGHT? I mean you wouldn't rush off the beach and set up a coaching program would you? So think of this just like a great traffic source/system or product. It has a shelf life and on the Net it isn't long. So why waste time teaching?

    You know the saying

"the one who do, do. Those that can't teach"

    and how true it is.

I can never see one valid reason EVER for coaching. Yeah I know....reason number 33 is..."blah, blah, blah". but it's NEVER valid if you really think about it. Sadly many make their monery form coaching not actually doing.

Not gonna happen. People who fit that criteria are busy actually doing business instead of trying to coach. I can tell you what they're gonna teach you right now for free. That is: research and create a product that teaches people how to make money. Your product should instruct your buyers to also create products teaching people how to make money.

That's it. No money out of your pocket.

Yep Or they can make a lot more from selling the dream then actually running the business.

buisness = hard work = slow build up = say $100k per annum (everntually) then oyu have to kepe working hard to keep it ther.

dream = not much work = big fast profits = $250,k per annum until everyone relaises it's B*S*

    Dude, forget about coaching altogether.

I don't think I've read such a load of misinformed
garbage on this forum in all the time I've been a
    member.

To the OP... Coaching - at the right time - can
make a huge difference to you and your business.

A coach can help you to put together a clear
strategy, can help you to establish realistic goals
and can ensure that you keep on track.

However, a coach is not a panacea. You will be
very much responsible for the implementation of
your strategy. You'll be accountable for your own
    results.

The biggest contribution most coaches make to
their clients is to help with their mindset, motivation
and to be there when the client needs to talk through
    problems or ideas.

The best coach/client relationships are often based on
a mutual enthusiasm for a specific topic. So, I'd advise
you to find a coach who has a track record in your chosen
    niche.

And, for all the nay-sayers and misinformed... Remember
your negativity and poor advice can have a severe and
negative influence on another person's business.

Why on earth would any "good coach" waste their time and cost therm money (if they are half a sgood as they say they are) trying to teach knuckleheads how to use common sense? WHY?

People who set them selves up as "coashes" you can bet are making more money coaching than actually doing. Use the common sense test.

While there are some so-called "coaches" that fit your negative assumptions, your sweeping generalization is hardly fair to the numerous coaches who are truly excellent at what they do.

Many coaches "do first" and then coach. Some continue "doing" and start coaching as well. If they are knowledgeable and great at coaching, there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting paid very well for their services.

As for "trying to teach knuckleheads", the best coaches are often very selective with regards to whom they choose to take on as clients. Not everyone feels that helping others is a waste of their time.

This is hardly a statement defining those who are genuinely out there to help others succeed... Sure there are those who may try to simply 'coach' based on what they see others doing, but there are plenty of people who teach business models to budding entrepreneurs who have a long history of success themselves.

I truly believe that you do get what you pay for however, and if you are looking for someone to help you build a quality, successful business (be it online or offline), then paying $9 for a WSO won't get you there. If you are going to train to become a professional in any field you're going to pay for an education, so you shouldn't expect that anything that would be considered a 'throw away' purchase (anything less than several hundred dollars) will give you the entire package.

Look for a coach who has experienced success, who genuinely do care about helping you (look for a coach who is selective in who they'll coach - just like a University is picky about who gets in), and expect to pay handsomely for a top-notch education.

      Good luck.

Knucklehead or no knucklehead a coach can set you on the right path to success and can be a determining factor in the scale of your success. There are several good coaches online, on and off the Warrior Forum.

I suggest you look at coaches in the Forum since they have accountability towards the community here - you can also seek feedback via PM from those who may be availing of their coaching as evident from their posts(e.g. "I'm in!") in the WSO thread.

Many coaches who used to coach outside are now back at the WF so you have a large number of options to choose from depending upon your budget and requirements. Use the search feature in the WSO section to locate coaching WSOs.

By the way, some coaches have even responded in this very thread!

Coaching is very powerful when it's STRUCTURED and SYSTEMETIZED.

Most coach operate in a freestyle mode. They show up on the call and they
ask you "so how things are going?"...

I have a result coach from the Tony Robbins company and it's highly structured
    for maximum effectiveness.

A lot of people call themselves coaches but they're a joke, not because they're
not genuine or competent but don't have a STRUCTURED and SYSTEMATIZED coaching system.

The right coach can make all the difference in the world. Are there bad ones? Yes. Are there good ones? Also, yes. In my opinion, the most successful people always have a good mentor or coach. It's a fast track to your goals. If someone can show you a way to expedite your learning curve, why would you not want to take advantage of that? Yes, reading the forum and watching videos is helpful, but if someone has a blueprint you can follow, by all means, go for it.

What a load of tosh. If a mentor charges you 20k to show you how to make 500k, and proves it to you, do you really care what aspect of IM you have to be taught to achieve it?

Originally Posted by Nick Walsh View Post

The question is do you want to earn big money or do you want to learn a particular IM niche for your success? There is a world of difference and the two don't necessarily go hand in hand. Most people wouldn't care a damn how they earn big money just as long as they ACTUALLY DO earn it.

As for mentoring, be careful Nick when taking recommendation from someone. Invariably it is their opinion and theirs alone. I would cast your net wider and use due diligence first.

If it's just advice on earning serious money that interests you, drop me a PM. If you want to follow a particular chosen path to achieve the same result, good luck.
