  Have you use Google Webmaster tool to check if Google has indexed your site?
  
  The tool will also tell you if there is anything wrong with your site.

This is the first site i used and i put my domain.com/blog and that's all , then in the process of pinging it tells " pinging failed" , and while processing i see many lines appear down and after each line it says in the process" failed", hope you got my point. Now when i ping it, it tells "This domain has already been Pinged in the last 3 days!"

You should use a valid url checker your site could be live but returning a 500 error to crawlers and bots (this happened to me before).

I think there is a checker called 2bone or tbone I can't remember. But run your domain through it and it'll tell you if there's any problems.

On a separate note you should only ping content ONCE do not go through multiple ping services as this can hurt your site

I used pingler and pingomatic. Don 't know which one is better but today i got my articles over the web

. Please guys, tell how much it took you to start seeing results and how did you manage with stress. I do blog comments for now, start making them longer, they will get eventually indexed in the next month or two, for now i only get 1-2 visitors each second day and that's it. I know as long as there is effort there will be result, but i feel blind sometimes, didn't you get pressure in the beginning?

If you want traffic than you need to rank on the first five places in Google search for your keywords. Don't put too much pressure on yourself... treat it as your learning curve. The more you do it, one day you will master it.

If you are using a WP Blog then add your list of ping sites to the blog settings so that every time you write a post it auto pings to these sites.

Here is how to do it:

Goto Settings
Select Writing
Scroll down to Update Services
Add your ping list into space provided

And to help with that here is my list of ping sites. I am unsure how many are dead but this list works great for me
