No Cover Images for .PDF's... Is That Standard?

I've noticed that when I convert my ebooks into .pdf format in Smashwords, it doesn't include the cover image.

Is that normal for .pdf ebooks? I was under the impression that the first page of the .pdf would contain an image of the book cover.

you should have a cover image on a PDF file. not sure why your image doesn't show up when you use your Smashwords tool. If you have it in MS Word, you can convert it to PDF using the Adobe tools. never had a problem using that.
