Have you seen those videos where you put your name on a billboard, TV Screen, etc?

Hi huys,

Many of you must have seen those videos where you put a name before playing the video and that name is added to the video on billboards, screens, people holding banners, etc. like if it was a News broadcast talking about the name you wrote.

Do you know which videos I am talking about?

I am looking a way to do that for videos to my list, so when my subscribers play the video, they see THEIR name on the video (like if I recorded the video especially for them.

Does that exist? A way to personalize the videos like we do with our emails? (like the "Hi [Firstname_fix]")

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers!

    Hey I dont know if this helps but I found this online

    In my freelancing years, I had the pleasure of doing a couple of personalized Flash video projects. This is probably one of the most effective ways of capturing an audience. Shoot a piece of video and personalize it with either the recipient’s name or the sender’s name. This is one of the many reasons why I love Flash so much. Before Flash video, doing something like this was totally unthinkable. And it’s really not that hard to do. You add a cue-point to the frame you want to add interaction to and when one of those cue-points gets fired, you just add the appropriate action.

      Those videos are made using Flash (Action Script), so you'll need to find a programmer who's skilled in that.

      What you can do is use the following format for the links in your email (assuming you are using Aweber)...

      http://www.YourWebsite.com/?id={!firstname_fix}

      Which would look like this when your subscriber gets it...

      http://www.YourWebsite.com/?id=Bob

      Then when they click that link, the script on your site grabs the value of "id", which can then be used in the Flash video.

    Thanks Brandon.

    Yes, I use Aweber. What you suggest can be used for showing the name of the person in TEXT on any page?
