Content - More Relevant Than Other

I'm sitting here and looking at some of the factors of the new algorithm in Panda and Penguin and here's what I'm trying to dissect.

Do you think Google has found a way to tell when an article has been spun or is of poor quality?

Or do you think that their method of detecting poor quality content is by factoring in that Bounce Rate? The higher the bounce rate, obviously the more poor the content is right?

I do know they take bounce rate into effect, but I know they now know when quality is of poor content. I'm just curious what method they're using and how deep their detection methods are for poor quality content.

I wish people realized that content is more relevant now than ever. Especially since people still try to hire writers for $1.00 per 100 words ^.^

"i has your articles of gud quality!!"

If you're providing genuine, quality content you have nothing to worry about.

I actually do hope Google cracks down even more on poor quality content. There's no reason for spun articles that provide absolutely zero value to readers to be on the front page.

I wouldn't spend too much time trying to crack any search engine's algorithm, for they are always changing and therefore a waste of time. Not only that, when they discover people trying to game their system, they change it again.

That time would be better spent creating fresh quality content that readers like. If the readers like it, they spend more time reading it and therefore, the time spent on site increases, taking care of the bounce rate.

People/readers are the ones who recommend other people/readers to sites with quality content.

People/readers are the ones who spend their money at sites with quality and useful content, not search engines.

So you see, the best thing to concentrate on is providing quality content to your readers because in essence, the search engines like what the people like. Take care of your readers and the rest just naturally falls into place.

You have nothing to worry about the detecting system if you write original contents.

Until there is a line of code in Google's algorithm that puts money into my bank account, I'm not going to pay them any mind. I'd rather focus on creating a quality product, plain and simple. I'd want to create content that people talk about, share, remember me for. Do that and rankings, money, and everything else takes care of itself.

Oh, and you get to charge more than $3 for 100 words too (sorry to say it, but you're not putting yourself in a "higher market" there; but I think with all these threads hoping to pick up work you already knew that ).

I've just recently came to the Warrior Forum and unfortunately I used to pick up my clientele from Digital Point. I know, I'm sorry too =(

Finding people who were willing to even pay $1.00 per 100 words was a struggle and it was an even greater struggle finding clients who were reliable.

Then I came here and I saw people discussing how 2 and even $3 per 100 words was like writing for peanuts but I was just amazed and a little pissed at the exact same time. "Awesome/WTF" are two things that went through my head immediately.

Awesome - I can now start charging more and making more!
WTF - I could have been making 2, 3 or even 5 times more than I've made!

Plus the clients I've found so far on Warrior Forum are FAR easier to please and work for than Digital Point. One of the last conversations I had with my very last client was a guy who tried to undercut me to .75c per 100 words. Here's the last conversation we ever had.

      "how progress is on task!"
"I sent you the articles earlier today in the e-mail you provided. Let me know if you need any more work done.

      Cheers,
      Corey"
      "hold on i check"
      *5 minutes later*
"this is no good rewrite them all"
"I'm sorry to hear that. What's wrong with them?"
"no good! i want the headlines i provide u in articles"
"I'm sorry about the miss-communication but I don't recall you providing me headlines."
"email me rewrites im going to bed"

Whelp, that's the last $1.00 per 100 words client I can confidently say I will ever work for

There were some good ones though, they weren't all bad.

If you spin content correctly not even humans can tell it is spun content nevermind search engines.

If you take the time and effort to do it by hand and ensure that

    1. every sentence has 3 alternative sentences
    2. all the words/phrases are spun only where they make sense to do so (using your brain not just relying on synonym suggestions)
    3. spin in/out relevant images/videos/contextual links to other sites
    4. spin in your link to money site and ensure all links move around in the spin

When you see someone posting that claims spinning doesn't work or gets sites penalised you can be safe in the knowledge that they are a self claimed idiot.

Most people just expect to paste an article into spinning software hit a couple of buttons and wham! spun article!

It actually takes a lot of care, attention and time to properly spin an article.

From my personal experience, I have tried just about every spinner you can think of. I've tried "TBS" as well which claims to be the best and I've heard great things about.

I've never found a spinner that product content that sounds like it was written by a toddler.

We won't be missing a thing if Google gets rid of all the bad content on the Internet. Make sure everything you put it is original and high quality and you don't have anything to worry about.

Create content that your readers would enjoy and make your readers even happen with some solutions

I am trying to stick much less away from the search engines and trying to gather more traffic from social media such as Twitter and Facebook.

They both are great places to pull awesome traffic from.
