Domain cash, how much can 1 domain potentially earn?

When buying domains, and hosting articles on them (either blog or website content)
how much potentially can they earn, if you sell it in 1 year?

eg,
One domain - Domain = good .com name, with keywords in
Hosted= wordpress blog
content = 20 articles, related to that keyword/micro niche
age = kept hosted for 1 year
other info = a .com domain, via namecheap

I know there are other factors (such as demand, niche, content etc),
but what can be expected in the range, of selling this domain with the content?

$ min - $ max ?? - roughly

you can speak from your experience too.

Also, does hosting More articles, increase the price of the sold domain by much?

Does keeping the domain for 1 year, increase the price of the sold domain much?

That's like asking how long is a piece of string - it depends.

    That's hard to say.

Content alone doesn't mean much. Rather, it's what the content DOES for the site. Does it draw in traffic? If so, how much? And/or does the content sell or presell? If so, how much is the site making?

In other words, people really aren't looking for sites with content. Instead, they are looking for sites with PROFIT (or at least targeted traffic). Sure, some will buy domains with content, but that's going to be on the low end of the scale (sometimes as low as $25 or $50). The higher-priced sites are those with verifiable profits (figure 10X to 12x monthly profits for a sale price)

To get an idea of what your site/domain would go for, check the past auctions on Flippa and compare the domain, age, traffic, profit and other assets.

    Cheers,
    Becky

      Thanks.

How about to the $300 - $500 range?

would that be good content, good domain, and average traffic?

What types of link building, (towards the domain to be sold) are best and noticed the best, and increases the price higher,
pointing towards the domain to be sold, which are seen by the purchasers?

eg, getting alot of 'related' blogs links are seen as a good thing by the buyers.

Easiest way to get ba ballpark figure is:

    Revenue X 8-10 months

Sites that are earning consistently can be gauged based on this. A site without earnings (or some other attraction like type-in traffic, opt-ins, etc) isn't worth much more than the domain + content, IMO. These sites sell based on hyped up "potential." And potential is short for "ain't done **** yet."

It all depends what the site is about. For example, take a look at the Truth About Abs site. That stand alone domain brings in over 1 million dollars per year for the site owner. When you add in affiliate commissions, that site/product takes in roughly 3 million per year .

This shows that there is a definite advantage to being a product owner...rather than being a standalone affiliate. When you are a product owner, you always win, if you have a top product in a popular niche.

Most sites that are scaled to that extent are given exclusive rights when it comes to media buying. There is no black and white answer as to what a site will make over a set period of time.

I don't think is good idea creating sites for just selling them, just a site require quality in all aspects to succeed so poor lots of sites don't have any sense

Don't take this the wrong way but maybe you should start using the search function a bit more.

You seem to be completely new to I'M and have a lot of questions, there is a ton of info already archived in the forum.

min: $-10 (you lost your domain + web hosting)
    max: $billions (see apple.com)

There really is no limit to how much money you can earn.
