Flipping hosting question?

I am creating small sites for my local businesses but the problem I am already thinking of is (after today) I know that changing hosting is a pain in the ***.

How does changing hosting if content is on wordpress work? Are you just meant to copy all the content and paste it back once new name servers and domain info is all sorted or is there an easier way?

    Go to tools -> export.

    There are also plugins that will help you move everything.

    But pretty much you install WP on new server then install all your plugins and themes then import your content you exported.
