ShareaSale Paid Promotions for Merchants

Does anyone know about ShareaSales program where they allow merchants to pay 200 dollars to have their affiliate program pop up as a "sponsored" listing for publishers?

Does anyone have experience with this? How many publishers actually signed up through this offer?

Always see it, but I've never joined a program through it. Whenever I go into SS I am looking for specific niches for my websites.

So it is with the whole website advertising issue - if the ad is not targeted, it won't be effective. But, there may be many publishers seeking that niche during your campaign - you never know. If it were ever in the particular niche I am looking for, chances are I would go the easy route and click on that promo - why not? I would still continue my search and sign up with others too.

I think that if you use the SS tags correctly, I would find you in my search. However, if your niche happens to be competitive in SS (many other programs there) then an ad might funnel some more niche seekers to you.
