Maybe you once like me, trying to make a few dollars on the Internet, I have made some good money on the Internet before, but never enough to have me retired, I was once disappointed about how competitive in the IM niche is, it's not like as before where you can make money easily as there are few competitions, now you have to try very hard and have some budget for advertising to get the words out, yes advertising is a very important part when doing business online.

Now I am on my 2 foots again, ready to make a come back and will never make the same mistakes again! Wish me good luck and success for my 2nd lap in the IM world, thanks!!!

    Don't focus too much on competition. That's a mindset of "lack" - as in, not enough to go around for everybody.

    This just isn't true. If you can find a unique twist on an old idea (like IM'ing sites, for example) you'll have no problems getting people interested in what you're doing.

    Instead, focus on how you can provide value, focus on what YOU can do, focus on what your business can bring to the table, and, if you must look at competition, just look at it as a sign that there is money to be made (otherwise others wouldn't be doing it).

    Focus on you, your business and your customers, and the competition will take care of itself.


    There's plenty to go around, you just have to go get it.

      Yes you're right, the keyword here is 'Focus', although it's good to be diversify, but at least build your core business first before going to have more products or services.

      Another pointer for beginners is invest in a good domain name and a web hosting account when you first started out, you will learn a lot along the way when managing your website or blog, don't waste your time on a Blogger.com account or free web hosting account.
