High searched keyword domains for marketing?

Hi,

Suppose I have a website xyz.com about cell phones. Would it help in bringing traffic if I register many keyword phrases domains in my niche and forward them to xyz.com?

For example, I might buy "Androidcellphone.com" because google shows me there are millions of searches for the phrase "Android cell phone" and then direct the domain to xyz.com?

The reason I ask is because if the domain name contains a keyword phrase, it is generally shown on the first page of google.

What do the warriors think?

Would not do you ANY good unless somebody typed in that new domain name directly into their browser. It won't come up for any google results, as there is not a site to APPEAR in the google results.

The site won't be indexed, it won't be auto ranked for that keyword - if you DO buy it - best be adding content and building out the site

      This is the perfect answer.

If your gonna buy the domain just work the site around that domain. You will rank easier thank others because your domain is an exact match to your keyword.

Why would you wanna forward it to another.

      All the best.

This is exactly what i train my students to get Exact Domain Name Match when doing keyword research.

But like others say you have to build a content rich website around it to be more effective
