New Email List: What Niche to Choose?

Hey Warriors,

I am getting into email marketing and I am stuck on what niche to make my email list? The only expertise/value I have is in my experience with IM, but is IM a saturated niche and are there better niches out there to get into?

I would appreciate warriors' input before I undergo the rather large task of building a list

Thanks,

JB

honestly your best bet is to probably stick with one of the proven niches, where there are lots of "solution seekers" - weightloss, abs, cures, pets etc... the IM niche isn't a bad one either as there are a TON of hungry buyers - anything that isn't already saturated might be that way for a reason... it's tempting to go where you think there isn't any competition but it could be a lot of work to realize that the reason there is no competition is because it's not all that profitable.

Jump in with the big guys, differentiate and keep working away at it - you'll get there.

Check out one of the big 3 - health, wealth and happiness. They will be around forever. You can build a list in almost any niche. Start with niche research first and go from there.

The point of having a list is in my oppinion, to make money. Am I right?
To be able to make the most of a list you need to build a good relation with the people that follow you, and to do that you need to provide value, which is much easier to do if you know the niche "by heart".

What I'm trying to say is, go for something you love and know a lot about.
It will yield the best results in the end.

Always start with what you know. If you know internet marketing then you should start building from there. If you eventually end up moving into other niche that's fine, but start with the knowledge you have.
