Strategy for driving traffic to single page Flash App

I'm looking for advise from Warriors on the best strategy/s for driving more traffic and getting better SERP results from my single page Flash App.

The app itself sits atop a single HTML page for which I have written content. This single page of HTML contains a number of short articles on the niche the app services. Recent updates on the page title, meta description, keywords and content have moved the app in SERP's from page 4 position 4 to page 3 position 6.

I've read this activity can influence page rank upto 15%. The largest factors being the trust / authority of incoming links, number of incoming links and the anchor text of incoming links.

The site gets anywhere from 200 to 300 visitors a day with 27% (and growing) being from returning users.

Would the best value for money option be to purchase quality high ranked back links? Or is there a better way?

    Hi there,

    If you are already receiving 200 - 300 uniques per day. I would study the causes of that. And then once you are clear as to how everyone is finding you via Google, or other sources.

    I would scale that, to rinse and repeat what you've already done right.

    Once you are more clear about what's working so far it will give you more ammunition to be able to focus on a solid strategy for getting more and more qualified visitors to your page that contains the app.

      Google analytics gives me a great deal of information, and qualifies that organic traffic from Google, Bing and Yahoo make up the lions share of traffic, with my blog following behind.

      This leads me to think I need to invest in back links and perhaps some well written review articles in prominent places?

      Thoughts?
