How Much Is My Site Worth?

Hi Warriors, I'm looking to sell a website (dating niche), is getting over 2k visitors per month, all coming from SEO traffic, ranking in page #1 of google for over 5 keywords. The bad news is that I suck in conversion and I'm not even making a dime with it, so I'm looking to sell it but I don't know how much to ask for it.

        You need to figure out how to monetize it before selling it off. Try some different approaches and do some basic split testing to see what works best!

    Traffic like that is worth something. Someone will be able to monetize it so don't take some lowball offer via pm by someone who says potential isn't worth much. Just saying.

    If I were you I'd put Adsense on it for a month and see what kind of returns you can get. Then you can base the price on the last 30 days of Adsense.

    The keywords play a great role. This is where your traffic comes from, I suggest this. Go to the Flippa marketplace and look for similar sites to yours.How much these sellers ask for their websites?

    I think if you do a litlle research, you ll find the answer to your question by your self.

    Listen, as i see here nobody is actually answering your question. If you want to sell your site you can at flippa. Type it in on google and there you go. I would put a link but forums picky so i appologize. With 2k visitors a month your sites prob worth max 100 since you are not getting any sales for it. If i were you i'd keep at it or try other keywords. Most of the reasons why sites fail is for that reason, they are targeting the wrong keywords OR the site in which visitors come from only want content instead of what you have to offer and whatnot.

    example: having a keyword "buy shoes" is more direct keyword than "shoes" so you want a direct keyword so when someone visits, they can find it right away and you make a sale. Having a sales page to direct to is even better,

    If it isn't making any money then you will have a hard time selling it. I suggest you get some help improving your website and start making money with it before you try to sell it or might be lucky and be able to sell it but it will definitely be at a loss.

    You can try Adsense, Infolinks, BuySellAds.com etc. and all the other ad networks. Also can try joining CPA networks as they have plenty of dating CPA offers. Another method is to build an email list with the traffic and either sell affiliate products on the back-end or sell your own ebooks.

    First off you if you have traffice someone will buy it now to the question of how much is it worth the truth is whatever someone is willing to pay for it is what its worth go to flippa and checkout what sites are selling for with the same specifics as your site

    Would it not be wise to just open certain parts of the site open to paid membership. I am sure with a dating site you should be able to find someone dumb enough to pay $10 for membership. Thats how 90% of dating sites earn their money, as advertising for these sites like most site is poor.
