Let's say that you have 5 ads running, advertising the same product, and you get 100 hits off of those ads. What is the best way to tell whichs ads produced the hits?

Thanks!

Depends where you sending the traffic. If you are sending to your own site, you can use Google Analytics and the URL builder. If it is an affiliate product you could use Prosper or the affiliate offers own tracking.

Setup 5 different webpages and have special tracking code on all 5 of the different pages.

This is the easiest or simplest thing you can do. A tracking code (just like the one used by affiliates) will take care of that. Have you tried searching for a WordPress plugin that can take care of that?

I did a Google search for you. Have you tried the Track That Stat plugin?

I personally recommend the inktrack.info ad tracker.

Yes, you do have to pay a monthly fee but can start of with a free account.

This in my opinion is a brilliantly designed piece of software.

      Enjoy
