well i used a product related to videos , and trust me i didnt do that "watch the full movies hd"
I ued a video with animoto , explaining the video ( actually i bought it myself to see what it does offer) so i made a review for it, it was actually good :p

YouTube is in my opinion one of the best marketing methods ever - for almost anything.

People like watching video, it keeps people engaged longer on your own site, and it has a much better ability to sell without much effort because there's a human connection.

...not to mention the viral possibilities as you've mentioned.

By search query volume, I believe it would be considered the second most used search engine as well. I actually read an article a little while ago that discussed how people use YouTube for research and stuff -- so they're not just looking for the Nyan Cat or other weird (but cool) videos for pure entertainment.

YouTube is still a great place to make affiliate sales....

Many people think that you cannot make sales with Animoto videos uploaded to YouTube but they convert very well.

There have been some recent threads on WF that detail how to make money with Clickbank and YouTube so no need to reinvent the wheel. Just follow the steps and get going!

They're worthless imo and don't add any value to the sales funnel. Plus, they get flagged as spam quite often.

Major props to your blog post as you've outlined a great YouTube/Clickbank strategy.

People have a love/hate relationship with Animoto but I will say that for those looking to get videos out there fast to funnel traffic, it's still a good method.....

To avoid them getting flagged, two recommendations:

1) Create videos for keywords with no competition (which there are tens -if not hundreds - of thousands!)

2) Add some informative content in the content area below the video.

Because affiliate marketers are going to YouTube in droves, they are getting a little "flag" happy just like when CL was more open to affiliate marketing, so the 2 steps above allow you to develop fast videos that are long-lasting.

The original premise was that YouTube is dead. I never heard that in any IM forum I've ever visited. I have heard that Animoto videos get slapped quite often as spam so be careful about using them.

Make a video channel with useful content including tutorials and videos and you will see traffic flow to your website in thousands. One good video is sometimes worth more than several articles.

I don't know who said that, especially when I know a guy who does nearly $10k a month on YouTube in the fitness niche. Funny thing is, he's not even an IM'er. He's actually a licensed trainer who just makes workout videos and sells his fitness and nutrition eBook.

That's interesting considering that Youtube stops the counting of viewers at the 300 mark so as to fight spam and doesn't release the real viewer number until more than 24 hours later.

So in 3 hours you made $60 sending 1000 viewers, which by the way are automated bots in Vagex, huh?

As for as I'm concerned, there is nothing to gain by claiming a profit like this, its chump change. Having spoke to him a few times, he has 3 services he is running that no doubt take up the majority of his time. I know how busy I am on other projects, and I have made money from videos as well. It's entirely plausible but I can understand people doubting claims like this.

LOL You obviously have no clue how Vagex works dude. You leave the stuff overnight for a 30 second count per video, wake up from your beauty sleep and reap the credit. The same people viewing your videos are doing the same as either bots created by blackhatters or done manually by people who leave their PCs overnight. Back in the earlier days, guys like ShawnWilliam whatever is called and other Youtube celebrities did it like this to build credibility hence the absurd amount of viewers they got (LOL at anyone thinking they are real views). Unfortunately, Youtube caught up with the gaming of the system.

Of course it's shenanigans. Put it like this:

"Hey guys, I'm so glad I found this forum and I learnt! I just made my first $200 on my 100k Facebook pages by reading this forum. I am so happy

"

What am I saying with the above? I know a trick to make money and I own a huge fan page.

Then, the PMs flow asking you how you did it or wanting to buy your page. Then you con those gullible people who think you are the best IMers since Tim Ferriss (another con-artist who gamed the system).

Please, when reading the internet, always be skeptic.

Actually I use Vagex as well so I do know how it works. You download an .exe and run it on your computer. I have watched videos on there and I have also let it play over night to earn credits. But I am a real person, and I have watched videos on there so to say they are all robots is nonsense, unless I am the Terminator? It is possible that a good video caught somebodies attention isn't it?

There are loads of sites that game the system and I only use them to help rank Youtube videos on their search engine rather than hoping to make money from it, but you know what I will happily eat my words. I am going to do a test using the same method, if I make any money I will let you know and I will post some data and screenshots. I am curious now as much as you are. I'll be back..

Dude, read the OP again. People use Vagex to leave it overnight, there's no clicking on links which is what he claims.

The only good thing Vagex is (or was) for creating the illusion of a video going viral which then leads to real viewers. However, Youtube has put a system to stop at 300 if the views occur very fast, which stops the video from going viral as is his case.

The only way his video would have got clicks would be via Vagex and NOBODY uses Vagex to view videos themselves. Oh, and he did it in 3 hours, mmm, yeah...

If you knew your BH stuff, you'd knew that there are ways of actually improving the efficacy of Vagex (and for which bots themselves are created), despite Vagex itself is a bot.

I'd happily talk more about all of this in private as I know there are many people lurking this forum who steal content from posts and put them in WSOs. I'm busy these days and roam the forum posting whenever I can help out or to ask a question, but shoot me a PM if you are into your BH stuff.

I'm curious, I am using the Vagex viewer right now and I can click all the links in the video description which open up in a seperate IE window, so how can you claim there is no clicking when I am watching videos and clicking links right this minute? Youtube is NOT dead, but it will get driven into the ground or fee's assessed.
Something like that, but there will be other things to popup. Nothing really dies we just tend to move on to new improved ways.

I do wish Google would wash away though. I haven't advertised on ad words in many years due to the cost of everything. Well thought I would give it a try again.

I had two ads running, One on Google and one on Facebook, exact same ad.
I had a 40 percent click conversion from Facebook.

Wait for it. Wait for it. 3 percent click conversion on Google. The clicks on Google cost me about 1.50 to 2.00 bucks, the clicks on FB cost me about 40 cents lol.

OK so you tube is not dead, but the algorithm for search is mess up. I get a lot of junk now. Before it was quite effective in finding awesome movies. Well, that was when there was five star rating and rating was part of the algo, but now there is a huge mountain of spam.

Youtube is still going strong, I have doubts it will ever go away.. Perfect way to promote, yourself, your product or your brand, not to mention Adsense revenue.. Doing $300/Days on 1 channel alone, haven't uploaded a video in weeks.

From my experience youtube is far from dead. You just need to pick the right product and have relevant keywords to hopefully keep you from getting marked as spam and losing your account(s). They change things up so often that you have to stay ontop of your marketing strategy or risk being left behind.

YouTube is definitely NOT dead.

I've been using in for quite sometimes but have never tried to monetize it though. I mean directly.

I used it more so that people will get to know me and build that relationship. It's easier to connect with people if you can SEE them, how they talk, their body language etc.

It's hard to know people just by their writing. So, I believe a lot more people will use YouTube and a lot more people would prefer to see the person who's selling something before they buy.
