Best way to setup clickbank?

What is the best way to setup clickbank account? Just one account? Or clickbank account for each niche? Can I have multiple accounts all my same name?

I have heard some people have multiple clickbank accounts for various reasons?

Why do you make multiple accounts?

and what is the best most lucrative, non confusing way to get this up and running?

Thank you

When I used to be more into affiliate marketing I just had one account, and I think I just used their tracking system so I would know how I had the conversion. Hope that helps!

You can tag links with a "subid". When someone uses that link, and buys something, the "subid" you tagged it with shows up in the commission report. Use a different subid for a different promotion, and you can tell which one generated the commission.

On Clicbank, the subid parameter is "tid".

If your referral link for some program was http://yourname.prodname.hop.clickbank.net, you would tag it like so: http://yourname.prodname.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=adwords, for example.

Most affiliate networks have the same ability, though they call it different things.

That was plain english :/ The only jargon I used was "subid", and I immediately defined it, gave an example, and linked to another explanation. What did I miss?

Why do people have separate clickbank accounts?

No clue. I guess they're doing something shady and worried their account will be closed. I wouldn't make multiple.

Yeah you seem right, I search WF and found this:

"I have multiple accounts... One for each product I sell."

"Multiple CB accounts are usually only useful if you are targeting a variety of niches (as an affiliate) or are selling multiple products (as a vendor).

I have a few accounts (about 3 or 4) and find it much easier to separate my earnings so that if I do need to show earnings proof (or organise myself for the tax man) it's easier to see where each sale has come from with separate accounts, rather than having to sift through one MASSIVE list of transactions on a single account.

      Just my thoughts..."

You think its good to have an Clickbank account for each niche?

Many leading affiliates have several accounts on CB which is allowed. Reason being that they have a different persona on different niches and hence have different accounts. It also helps to track sales and other statistics.

I was thinking about making an email for each clickbank account that corresponds to each niche? example: bodybuilding: make a bodybuilding email, bodybuilding niche, bodybuilding clickbank account, and bodybuiling youtube channel, etc....and promote CB all of the web....is this what you mean?

      what do you think?

Well, not to me. I have just one, which I've had for probably 10 years. And I don't need to sift through lists of transactions to know where each sale came from; I'm in the business of making software that automatically tells you the exact source of every sale, so I have that covered. I've promoted all different niches from one account, don't see a reason to separate things.

I would definitely have a different Clickbank account for each niche, if not each product. Remember that your commission percentage is across your whole account so all products have the same commission percentage.

I have about 4-5 different Clickbank accounts and find it much easier.
