Is it worth banner ads?

Hello guys!!

I want to buy banner ads on blogs related to internet marketing niche but I am not sure if this can help me to grow my list!! Can you give me some advice ?

      Contests definitely bring the most activity as opposed to just bringing visitors from banners.

    This can help you grow your list if done effectively but if you ask me then I will recommend trying something else because you can lost money on this method.

    True, contest will bring in more bang for your buck. Banner ads do work, however on most banner exchanges the banner is placed in places where it is not seen. If you can get a guarantee that your banner will be visible your ROI may be worth it. If it is not an absurd crazy amount it does not hurt to test those banners, you may find a winner.

    I basically agree with everyone else, but if you come across a site or your advertising on a site that also uses banner promotion, hey, throw one up there...it can only help, can't really hurt? Right?

    The painful part is testing. You will spend money with sites that do not give a good, if any, ROI. But with experience, or just plain old luck, you will find the occasional gold nugget that makes this system worth using.

    It's a waste of money i find. i tried it myself on other forums and related sites, doesn't bring in targeting traffic if you have a service to offer. That's what i found anyway... and the prices are too overly priced it's ridiculous. If you're spending more then what you are earning it's a basic waste. Maybe as well guest blog or post on forums with your signature.

    No one can say that paying for banner advertising doesn't work. It just depends where you pay to have your banner ad placed. If you are wanting to build your list, then pay someone to put up a banner ad for you if you are wanting to go that route.
