Separate blog for Curating?

I have started curating on my blog. I'm interested in whether I should do 2 separate blogs. One for curated content and one for my own stuff.
Is this a good idea? Are there any advantages in doing it? If so, does any one have any good tips?

no just mix and match it... your curated stuff should have a fair bit of your own content anyway.... remember curation requires you to put what's curated into context.. not just copy and paste

I use one blog for both, and I use Tubmlr instead of Wordpress, because I found the integration of content creation with content creation on Tumblr to be amazing.

I mix both, but I tag each curated post with a specific tag, so that I know for myself wich posts are curated.

That sounds very interesting. Could you explain a bit about how it works for you?

Mix them up and focus on your own site. Spreading content everywhere rarely works these days.

I agree with those who say to mix and match. Take your curated material, attribute it to the proper source and then surround it with your material.

    Bleacher Nation

uses blog curation to agreat extent. I remember the author saying that he recieved over 100,000 hits during one day last month. It is a very well run sight.
