What Are Your Favorite IM Tools?

Hey Warriors,

I was thinking today about some of my favorite tools / services that have helped me the most in growing my business over the past 5 years. I thought I'd share a few here and would love to know what your favorites are as well!

Aweber - This one is pretty obvious

GoToWebinar - Still one of the best for doing live webinars.

OneClickTool.com - A really cool free tool that allows you to immediately add people who register for your webinar into Aweber. This works REALLY well for growing your list via social media sites like Twitter and Facebook.

Wistia - This is one of my more recent discoveries. It works extremely well for video hosting and creating custom video players. But what I like best about it is that I'm able to upload my raw GoToWebinar files and create a video player that is compatible with all devices.

Adtrackz Gold - This is where I do all of my tracking so that I know exactly how much traffic is coming from each traffic source. Along with how many of those visitors are converting into subscribers and sales. If you don't know the effectiveness
of each of your different traffic sources - there's no way to scale. You MUST measure to improve.

Optimizely - Makes all of our split-testing super easy.

99Designs.com - This is my go-to source for graphics.

Optimize Press - We pretty much run our entire business with Optimize Press & Wordpress.

Digital Access Pass OR Wishlist - Membership sites are the key to a consistent, predictable business model.

DiyWPBlog.com - This guy is a tech wizard who makes my life easier.

GraphicRiver.net - This is my secret spot for finding really cool graphics to use inside my product download areas and within my membership site.

LastPass - Because I certainly can't remember all those passwords by myself.

DropBox - One of the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online. This is a life-saver especially if you're working with team members.

EverNote - This is one of my favorite tools online. I use it every day.Evernote allows you to take notes, save url's, web clips, files, images and entire webpages.
I use it to create my online swipe file. Mark down ideas for new products. Keep a running list of article ideas, subject lines and more.

FreeMind - My favorite free mind mapping software. I use mindmaps to outline articles, new products, and business ideas.

Contactually.com - This is a new one that I've just started using but it's pretty ninja.
Great for keeping up with your blogging alliance.

Ok... Your Turn

Awesome. Thanks for the list! Just booked marked it.

One thing in my tool belt is seolinkvine. I was lucky enough to get in when it first opened and have a life time membership. Great for article marketing. You can also get free content from them as well. I use it for one of my sites for free content, not a bad source.

Usually when there are questions like this posed, there are a lot of people that post thought-provoking responses like "My mind is the most important IM tool" or something like that.

Whenever I see posts like that I want to just one-up them and say "Oxygen is the important marketing tool because we would be nothing without it.".

But to your point, here is my list:

        1) Aweber
        2) Google Apps
        3) A tie for SEOElite & Optispider.

SnapEngage - Nothing else helps close sales better than a customer being able to live chat to answer their questions. Even if I'm not online, the "support offline, click to send an email" button shown instead has increased conversion rates compared to not having it there.

ZenDesk - Support tickets and help desk. Putting all the frequently asked questions on the front of the help desk has drastically reduced unnecessary support e-mails. Has a nice mobile app too.

SendGrid - Transactional mail as a service. My e-mails to customers get delivered, every time, not to a spam folder like mail from most shared web hosts.

HitTail - Suggests keywords to target for SEO/PPC based on searches used to find your website. Sends me a weekly e-mail with a new list.

Trello - Project/task management. I use it for everything from idea organization, to software bug tracking, to marketing activity reminders.

AdWords Remarketing - If you have your own product or service, and you're not running remarketing campaigns, you're crazy.

Improvely - I won't link this one as it's mine, but this is what I use to track the clicks and conversions from all my marketing efforts, as well as monitor SEO results and see what new sites are linking to mine.

      Thanks for the additions

I've also heard that AdRoll.com is good for retargeting.

      That's next on my list.

Mmm, so Google now know all your friends, where you go, can read your emails, know every search you make, know all of your websites and its visitors and now they have all your files. I'll be avoiding that service, they are not owning me.

No offence taken bud , but this is partly why I avoid as many Google services as I can, they don't like Internet Marketers and they are not knowing the in's and outs of my whole business.

Why would you not use something like DropBox or MediaFire over Google?
