Is there any free sitemap creator program or anything like this?

Hi guys,

I need help on this, does this kind of tool exist? As when i have already have my site verify with google webmaster tools, but funny thing is when i submit my sitemap to it. They mention error - Due Unsupported file format -. I am not very how and why it happen this. So i was wondering is there any way i can edit or even have a program that can create a sitemap for us when i send them my website link to create?
Is there any program like this? Would really appreciate someone can help me on this.

Anyway i am using Prestashop, which i am using their sitemap. Anyone here using this E-commerce cart program? Can give help me out on this?

    Just Google... sitemap creator online ...and take your pick.

    Try this free one, it's excellent and the one we use for xml sitemaps for Google.

    Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator

    It has a 500 page maximum though.

    really thanks for your help on this!
    Dave - really appreciate for your help on this. went to the website and enter my website. Waiting for the program to create for me. But funny thing it's hang at the halfway - showing connection interrupted. I am curious on this.

    So let's say i manage to create the sitemap, what should i do? Just insert this sitemap to the google webmaster tool will do? Do i need to update the sitemap often if i create a few new catalog for my store?

    When you've created your sitemap on the sitemap generator site, download the sitemap file from the link under "Download un-compressed XML Sitemap" and upload it into the "public_html" folder of your site eg.

    http://www.yourdomain.com

    Then go to your Google Webmaster account and add your sitemap URL which will be:

    http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

    You'll need to update it manually or generate a new one if you make changes to the site, you only need to submit to Google once though.

    Which mean if there's updates [New pages] i will have to create a new sitemap from sitemap generator site and upload as normal steps will do right?

    Yes, you can update it manually by adding the new info yourself, otherwise generate a new one from the sitemap generator site and overwrite the existing one on your site.
