How to Find Solo Ads?

I found some info online, but I can't really seem to find how to get them. I understand that you pay someone to blast their email list, but how does that help someone like me build my own list? Do I setup a site with a email form and try to capture emails?

My goal is to build a list to sell SEO/link building services to, which I know is highly-competitive.

    There are many mailers here who are sellin solo ads. You may use the "Looking for" forum to search for one, or join an email marketing group.

      I found a few websites offering solo-ads, but do you think it would be better to work with someone from here?

      How do I find people offering solo-ads? I did a few searches and nothing really popped up, would it be in the BST section?

    You need to setup a squeeze page and send traffic to this page.(Check my signature and try to create similar pages) . Fastest way to send traffic is solo ads.You can find solo ad providers from Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory.

      So basically I need to find a "product" to promote, and create a basic squeeze page like yours to capture email addresses?

      Did you write the e-book or are you just giving away something you got for free as well?

      I wrote a few e-books but never promoted them or put them online, should I use my own books or just promote something else I found for free?

    If your product is around link building and seo then you need to have some kind of a
    free offer around that information

    solo ads do work well but you do need to have a half decent sales funnel set up otherwise all the traffic which you pay for will just go to waste

    you can start off with low price solo ads for around $35 for 100 unique clicks to your squeeze page just to test your pages and funnel and see how it performs

    $35 for only 100 clicks? That seems a little expensive, unless the traffic is highly targeted?

    Do people use Solo-Ads for ClickBank products?

      that`s not expensive at all and yes the traffic is lazer targeted

      the better list of solo ads you have then the better it will perform

      i don`t personally promote any clickbank products with solo ads, i just sell all my own products

      you can use them but your best off to create a little product yourself so you can build your own list of buyers

      when promoting clickbank products though, you can`t just direct link to a clickbank sales page you have to send the traffic to your own free offer first

        I wrote an e-book on how to flip websites, do you think something like that would be worth promoting? The e-book is about 6 pages long, not including any images or charts/graphs, that's just pure text.

        So say I make a squeeze-page for this e-book I wrote, I could make a squeeze page, and use solo-ads to drive traffic to the page, and just hope I get sales from my e-book?

        I don't really know how much the e-book would be worth either, but if I sell it for $25 and get 60 sales a month then that would be $1500, but it wouldn't be very consistent.
