I've been sending my 3500+ optin subsciber newsletter for years using Dada Mail in my own server, but now my host has setup the server so it will only send 300 emails an hour, so I have to move from there quickly.

I've used AWeber for a small list I'm growing, but I don't think it's a good idea to use AWeber for this list as I wouldn't like to send invitation to resuscribe to my whole list.

Yes, I know it would be nicely filtered and everything, but I'd like to know if you know of some providers that would let you send email to list. I would also like to resell this service to my customers.

Of course, this is no spam. I've evaluated providers such as blueskyfactory.com and exacttarget.com, but they are quite expensive.

There are other services such as fromdoppler.com and campaignmonitor.com, which are good enough albeit a bit limited.

I'd like to know if you know of a few more providers, before I make a decision.

    I have been looking for a simular thing. I have a website emailstartup.com that provides opt-in email databases for members to access and send targeted emails to. But it doesn't provide a server that can handle bulk emails - its just a database.

    I have found this site

    netscapeweb.duoservers.com

    and the enterprise package seems to meet all my needs, and might suite you too. It also has reseller rights.

    There's a number of autoresponder scripts that can be hosted on your own server that allow you to import. Autoresponseplus (by fellow warrior Neil Morgan) and Kelvin Brown (another warrior) offers a similar service.

      Rich, the problem is that my server would not let me send more that 300 emails/hour, so it would be a pain to use those scripts. That's why I'm looking for a hosted service.

        Some scripts, including AutoResponse Plus, allow you to throttle the number sent automatically.

        Enter one number (300 in your case) and the job's done.

            Hello

            I use a very good safe list called TargetProBlaster for my email marketing campaign.I think its very good and the price of joining is not much.

            Its effective.Should try it.You can post adds to all on the list three times a day.

            I would love to hear of other such sites as well.

            What you need is THIRD PARTY autoresponder sevice as you don't want self-hosted on your server.

            All third party autoresponder services are web based.

    Any good web based script "should" make you double opti-in your entire list before the emails enter their system. This is good pratice for them to stay whitelisted.

    Thanks Joshua, I know very well about the optin, and antispam policies and everything. But there are times wnen I REALLY need to simply add recipients and send an email. For example, when my customer wants to send a simple, one-time email to your customer base. If their ucstomer base is 300 or so, you cans use campaign monitor or something similar, but if the customer base is 20,000, then you need something simpler.

    Hi Gustavo,

    You've got to consider deliverability in choosing a vendor or a product. Alternatives to Aweber are Email Aces which is not bad, and GetResponse is good.

    I tried using a good product, ListMailPro on my own domains and got really bad delivery.

    That's right Gren, if I use something installed in my own server I have a lot of deliverability problems. That's why I'm looking for a third-party, ASP.
