Why Someone Comes Back To A Website

Can be a million reasons, but let's get a good list going!
I'll start off:

- It has well written and useful articles.
- It is trusted and reliable.
- It has a sense of Professionalism (Good graphic design, etc)
- The person writing the article knows his stuff.
- The website is very informative.
- Easy usability and navigation.

You can be as general as possible or as detailed, doesn't matter. As long as I could read from a good list of different peoples opinion, it can help me on forming a website, as I'm sure it will help others.

My Alternative take on this :

    1. Competitors checking you out
    2. Competitors looking for new ideas

Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

Other than these, a good dose of interaction helps. Why do people keep going back to forums (aside from IM of course)? Why do people like Facebook so much? It's generally because of the interaction that you get from them. Keep your site active (polls, comments, questions, etc.)

It depends on the topic. if the site is about celebrities for example, people will come back to the daily news because a lot of hot news are hapening all the time for that topic.

if it another kind of site for example for techical tips. people will come back because they need to learn and your site it giving them the material to do so.

there are more but I would say it depend on the topic of the site.

It's all about content.. The higher the quality your content is and the more valuable information you offer to your readers, the more visitors your site will likely have.

    • A site that has lots of updated tutorials
    • A site that has latest information about SEO and IM

I heard that a site that has a forum section could let viewers come back to the site.
