My name is vishwas..And i write eroctic books on amazon...Just wanted to know how can i do marketing for my ebook...Your help will be of great help

      Here's the thing that people don't seem to understand about selling books on Kindle, Nook, etc. If you write something that people want to buy, and it is good, they will buy it. If you write crap, you won't make many sales. Amazon does the marketing for you but you have to write what people are looking for and it has to be good.

    Three areas of advice...

    1. Create a blog and write compelling posts each day to attract interest - these could be erotic stories, commenting on news, areas that would attract a great deal of attention from those who would be interested in your ebooks. Then - you link back to your ebooks from the blog (both sidebar and contextually within posts)

    2. Press Releases - should be no trouble coming up with compelling press releases around your topic, you can aim at many of the top free submissions sites or pay a $100-$200 to get premium placement and hopefully get some syndication going

    3. Build a collection of ebooks - often you do better on Kindle with a collection of works, where people see you as an active, well published author in that genre, you can then cross-reference your books and make more money from each sale (as many will buy multiple copies) as well.

    Focus on your writing skills, as suggested here. For erotica, also consider building a 'brand' with a series and multiple stories and cross-promote. Many people will want to read the next book in a series if they enjoyed the first one.
