Traffic From Powerpoint Sharing sites?

I was doing some research and found that Powerpoint Slides are also a good source of traffic... I had no idea!

I could only find a few (literally) sites that lots of people frequent...

slideshare dot net
slideboom dot com
authorstream dot com

I'm sure there are more, but these were high on the list in the search results.

I'm pretty decent with PPT... I thin I'll throw a few slides together this weekend and submit them to these sites and look at my host's analytics and see what happens.

You can also turn these into videos in Camtasia and other apps and submit the vids to video submission sites.

I'll run a test in the next couple weeks and report back what I find (hopefully I'll have time).

    Slideboom and Slideshare will bring some traffic. I don't know about the other one.

    Simply convert your slideshows to videos and submit them to video sharing sites. Not only Youtube!

    On smaller video sites your video may stay on front page for hours and bring you a real boost of traffic.

    This strategy is useful for BOTH traffic and backlinks .... you don't do it just for traffic.

    Done right these can make a LOT of money - I recently sold a guide about this to my list and they lapped it up. I've even seen people earning in hours by writing and submitting presentations based around "product review" keywords on Slideshare.

    I tried that once a long time ago, with some good and some bad results. Maybe is the way I did it?
    Today, traffic from video sites is much easier to get. I think people are lazy and prefer to see and hear than to read.
