Average Salaries around the Globe!

Hello Warriors,

I have come across this site, https://www.staff.com/blog/web-devel...s-infographic/ that presents the average salaries of a graphic designer, web developer, software developer, and web designer around the globe.

Do you personally agree with what you have seen?

The 4 major English speaking countries are among the top earners.

While Filipinos are receiving the lowest salaries in all categories.

I am not sure how did they get the data.

On a positive note, this is another reason to venture on freelancing and open ourselves up to the global economy.

Please share your thoughts on this.

      I agree, I find it interesting. I believe the currency value has something to do with this as well including the cost of living.

    Absolutely - I feel cost of living is another important factor, for example the costs of living in Australia is MUCH MUCH higher than the us and that is why aussies get paid more.. not really more in a true sense.

    Obviously, that website shows inaccurate and unreliable data. Websites that show statistics like those always show a reference at the bottom for their resources. That site does not.

        Wow, I'm really surprised to read the low salaries for web designers and developer in Germany. A lot of other jobs over there pay way more than in the US, and the cost of living is quite high too.
