What is the best way of creating an amazing WSO?

I just ran a WSO recently and not so great results.I want to learn and improve and get better.

does anyone have experience with submitting WSO's and what tips can you give?

    Was the product really good? Did it offer real value? Tough questions I know but they have to be asked.

    Did you have any affiliates promoting the product? Unfortunately there are so many WSOs being released every day that relatively unknown people get lost in the hustle and bustle.


    Join a few Facebook and Skype groups that focus on affiliate recruitment and start building relationships. That way when you have a product available, you can ask them for their honest opinion on the product. This will give you valuable feedback and might even have some of them wanting to market your product to their list.

    Unfortunately there isn't a simple answer to this one, but here's a few things that are ESSENTIAL for creating a successful WSO. Don't get me wrong you can be successful without these but it will be more luck than management.

    Traffic - Don't relay on the WSO thread, there are too many WSO's being released for this to work effectively anymore, you need affiliates or some other type of traffic generation

    Sales Copy / Headline - Without a good thread title and sales copy your conversions will be shocking

    Good Product - Produce a product that people are interested in now, look through the WSO forum and see what people are buying, making some sort of obscure product that nobody is buying won't help you make any sales. One of the best I've seen recently is a piece of software that creates cartoon girls.....lots of them to be used in sales copy, blogs, within products, for promotion etc. Images are a hot topic at the moment with Pinterest and mems and the like and this helps solve a problem of creating images for promotion.

    Value - If you create a crappy 20 pages report with rehashed traffic strategies your not going to make any sales, if you create a 20 page report with a step by step system for a new profit stream that no one is using you're onto a winner. If doesn't matter about quantity, it's all about the QUALITY of the product, this will help it go viral.

    If you can't make money promoting WSO then I am pretty sure that you can't make money using your WSO either. Self confidence and experience are the main factors why a WSO is successful. People will not buy your WSO if they see this thread....

    You need a really good product and lots of results to back up your claims. Once you can make enough sales to show a high EPC affiliates should start mailing out to their lists.

      I agree, it's usually when warriorplus shows you've made more than 100 sales, if you're EPC meets their minimum and they have a list in that area they'll pr4omote and you may not even need to spend any time recruiting affiliates, however, you have to reach that 100 sales mark BEFORE they'll start to take notice.

    It depends upon many factors like:
    - niche you're targeting and demand for the product.
    - the quality of your product.
    - the sales page
    - the price of your product.

    Hi Mark,

    The main thing I would suggest is provide proof. Make sure you are having success implementing your methods yourself and provide full proof and support.

    Be as transparent as possible and make sure it is actually a WSO - pack value in there at the best price you can and you should do fine.

    Okay, if you're talking about the WSO in your sig, it's got a long way to go before it'll be successful. Your headline is long and non-specific. It speaks to virtually no one.

    The next large section header is the same. Everything in large type is the same. You're speaking in metaphors that no one will understand. People on this forum are looking for very specific stuff. They want more money, more traffic, easier ways to do things.

    You keep talking about resources, tools, armory, yadda, yadda... You need to get to the point, already. Problem is, people are already a third of the way down the page and they still have no idea what you're selling. Click. Bye!

    Not looking to hurt your feelings, just being direct, which is what you need to do. You've got very little time to capture their attention. Use it wisely.

    Somewhere (right at the top of the offer) you need tell them what you have. Resources is no good. What resources? What are these resources going to do to put more money in MY pocket? Anything else is plain silly. Are they going to bring me more traffic? More sales? If so, how do they work? Specifics! Short and to the point. The only reason people are looking in the WSO section is to end up with more money or to have a program that will get it for them.

    That's why your results were not so great. Next time look at some successful WSOs and try and emulate what they've done. Either that or hire a copywriter who's had success writing for this market. Remember, be specific in what you're offering and be sure the product solves one of the problems I've mentioned above.     Don't worry, it was just your first. You are still learning and learn from you mistakes, I am sure you'll do much better with each upcoming WSO. Don't leave it now just because your 1st was not successful. Watch and learn from few successful WSO's how they do their work. How they write their sales copy. How they provide help etc.

    A writer friend wanted to break into ClickBank product creation but I told her that it really boils down to understanding the marketing of the product AND understanding the value that the seller brings to the table

    WSO creation is very similar...It's just a different maketplace but again, it boils down to the same 2 areas...So what I would do is:

    1) Look at the longest running WSO's and study their ad setup as well as the subject area.....Think about how you can emulate their ad creation as well as what knowledge base/skill sets you can add to similar subject areas so that others will value your input.

    2) Even if you're not interested in the product, purchase some of these WSO's. You will see in most cases that the seller really overdelivers in value. Think about how you can overdeliver in value.

    Hi, Mark.
    You didn't mention whether you got lots of views or not.
    If not, then it may have been your subject line that needed improving.

    If you did get lots of views (but few buys) then the sales pages is not converting properly. If people opened the subject line, they were interested in whatever it promised and apparently the sales copy didn't convince them there was enough value to give you money for it.

    Did you get lots of questions in the thread, asking for details or clarification? If so, then they were confused by the offer.

    So, try to pinpoint where the problem was. Of course, the first step is writing a subject line that entices people to open it up. If that doesn't happen, it doesn't matter how good the sales copy is or how good the product is.

    As someone said above, don't worry. If you're new at this then the main thing is that you're taking action. Fail fast. That's the way to succeed. (Learn from your mistakes). The only way to learn this stuff is to do it, fall down, get back up, try it a little differently. Keep going.

    The only catch is the only offer you will make with the WSO .... Unless it is unique & really comprehensive in nature, no one can get it subscribed to...

    Find a base to work on it & give it a mix of uniqueness & creative style that will make your offer reach to more buyers

      yes you have a great point, a great quality product that people want is the way to go. is $5 a good price point do you think for a WSO? i see some WSO's for like $27 but does not reflect the value, any thoughts?

    I have created some WSO's, some have done good, some very bad, but I can honestly say that the key are affiliates, you can't just leave your faith to the traffic the WSO section brings by it self, you need to promote the WSO and recruit affiliates, see who have done a similar WSO before and persuade them to promote the offer for you.
