I always liked fiverr! It's a good idea! It's silly making a sixer, but it might work! It's an idea!

As long as there are numbers, people are going to be registering them and adding "err" at the end of them.

People should seriously start jumping off the Fiverr train and start brainstorming the next new, better thing.

yes, I also like fiverr... but for those successful and not successful fiverr providers they can jump on this new opportunity. Sixerr is doing heavy advertising now.

I don't mean for people to stop using sites like Fiverr, but from the webmaster point of view, people should seriously stop trying to replicate sites like "Fiverr".

Usually, the first in a niche does the best. Take eBay, PayPal, and sites like that as examples. There's always room for competitors, but when people think "online auctions" what do they always think of first? Right.

Same goes for Fiverr. Use it. Love it. Make money from it. But don't go trying to make a "sixerr" site or "twentyerr" site. LOL

There's still lots of other great ideas out there yet to be discovered.

Whenever there's an idea that catches on and is successful, the copycats come crawling out of the woodwork. These people couldn't come up with a good idea on their own if it hit them upside the head with a 2x4.

Will those copycat sites be successful too? Most likely not. As soon as Fiverr caught on, there was tenrr and tons of other clones. How many Ebay clones, Craigslist clones ... you name it ... but have any of them achieved even a small fraction of the success as the sites they copy? Not that I've heard.

      You make a great point.

I checked out Tenerr not too long ago, and it didn't take long before I heard the crickets chirping.

I don't think this will be as successful as fiverr somehow.

There are many other gig sites like fiverr, but none of them have anywhere near as much traffic.

The copy cats are thinking..."raise the price and we will make more"... 6er, 7er, 8er...etc

The consumers are thinking..."I want to pay less"...4er, 3er, freeer?!?

Bad combination for success. Everyones going the wrong way.

I'm afraid that's life on the internet, including the outside actually. As long as there will be successful releases people will copy them.

Ever see the popular shop with competition moving next door, that is the way it is and always will be. Nothing will ever change.

When people run out of ideas.. Can't imagine if ANY of the dozens clones actually have 'made it' yet. Wouldn't make sense for anybody to prefer clones to the original Fiverr. Oh well.. The humanity.

There many other Fiverr alternatives. In terms of the volume of traffic, nothing can even touch Fiverr.

I must get three emails a week from hopeful new site owners who bought one of the Fiverr scripts. "Will you promote my Fiverr clone?" I would think up a way to take their money but I don't want to get on Fiverr's bad side.

Humans are best at copycatting. We learn to walk, talk, eat by copycatting the people around us. There will always be someone who would want to copycat successful. Even here on WF, everyone wants to copycat someone who is making millions. Its in our blood.. lol

It seems like another Fiverr clone - it does use the same site template but this one looks a little unprofessional to me, when I look at the home page.

Actually, they say you can sell $3-$6 services there.
