Can I post a warrior coupon on a thread?

Hi, I've looked through a bunch of instructions but still can't find the rules on this one and I want to abide all the rules in the forum, its a great place.

I just wanted to offer a coupon code in my posts but not sure if that is allowed without signing up and paying the forum something.
I did msg admin a few days ago but it's been several days so I thought I'd just ask in here if anyone knows the rules on this idea.
Thanks

No. You cannot self promote in the discussion forums. You can pay for a WSO thread, a Classified thread to offer a coupon or put it on a site that you own and link to that site in your signature.

You can link to a webpage or website that you own and THERE you can promote your coupons.

Affiliate links are strictly forbidden in the signature.

You have to link to your own stuff - be it a website, your personal blog, your WSO, whatever.

You do not need to join the War Room to have a signature. You do need to join the War Room to list a WSO. As for general links to your site, don't drop links to your site in any posts. That's considered self promotion. Links to your site in your signature are fine.

However joining the War Room is highly HIGHLY recommended. It's just an incredible resource and a wealth of information, and basically everyone else will tell you the same.

          Best of luck,

I wasn't sure how much good it would do me since I"m not really an IM. I use IM to market my website, but my specialty is trading.
Do you think it would alright to post a signature link something likeL
            3w's.mywebsitename.com/warriorcoupon.html
? Or would that be inappropriate in your opinion?

Something like that with an appropriate tag line should be fine. Unless that link is just a redirect to an affiliate page or a company-supplied template.

As others said, don't do things just to draw attention to your sig. What things? Things like dropping null content one-line posts ('nice share', 'nice post', etc.) just to show your sig. Things like adding "see my sig" in your post.

In general, if your post adds to the conversation in some way, you're fine. If it looks like you posted just to promote your sig, someone will report it and then it's up to the mods what happens next.

You don't have to - But I do think there is a minimum number of posts that you need to have (Maybe 15? Not sure...).

On the following page are the WF signature rules:

        What are the Forum Rules?

You can also purchase the $60/year subscription to be able to have an image in your signature as a link.

It's worth pointing out Trevor is only talking about your signature. No self promotional links are allowed in your actual posts, unless of course in threads you have paid for in the WSO forum or Classifieds section.

Why don't you just post your website in the signature and then say "Use coupon 'WARRIOR' to save 20%" or something? You can link to your own site in your sigs.
