Hello,

We have more than 10,000 targeted email ids for specific vertical. (Mostly for USA) We like to know, if we want to sell those email ids is that proper ? Or how we can do that and what is the cost we can charge.

Thank you in advance.

It is usually considered quite illegal especialy if they are opt-in and yous pecified that their information is not going to be sold.

Thanks for the information. Will keep that in mind.

How people then sell email ids? As my understanding all quality emails have to be opt-in.. (the data scraped emails are very generic). Any advice.

    Thank you.

Although there are many sites that sell e-mails in bulk,it is illegal to send commercial promotions to those who haven't personally opten in to receive them.Plus there is no point in promoting to the people who are already getting bombarded with hundreds of promotions everyday(that is what happens when mailing lists are leaked or sold on the internet).

It depends what you privacy policy states. Some privacy policies state that by opting in you give the business permission to sell those email addresses to another party as part of the business being sold. In most cases though, no, you should not be selling email addresses at all. Nor would most people want to buy them. Email addresses that have not been collected for your own specific purpose are generally quite useless anyway.
