You need to see what skills set you have first...there is no one method that suits everyone...

I agree with owen lee. Everyone is different in what they like doing. Mostly you are good at what you like doing. If you love writing and are good at it, think of starting a business that willallow you to write. You might want to have a PLR site, or offer your services as a copywriter or freelancer. But if not, you can still use your writing skills to write content for your website.
If you have other skills, then try to get into something that will allow you to use them. If you don't, you will soon become bored and that is not good for developing any business

Everything is equally good and bad.

Just based on what you are passionate about.

Instead of finding what's a "good", ask yourself "what am I passionate about?"

Asking which Internet marketing method works best is highly ambiguous.

1. What are you marketing?

2. Who is your target market?

Unless you answer those two vital questions, you most likely will end up spinning your wheels on the wrong method.

For example you would concentrate in different area's if you were marketing to stay at home Mom's vs business owners. The Mom's might be spending more time on Mom blogs and Facebook, while the business owners might be spending more time on Linkedin and business blogs. This is pretty simplistic and generalized, we normally do a rather intensive drill down of who our clients target market is.

Article marketing, Video Marketing can be used with almost any type of product, service or website. You can use these methods to drive traffic to CPA offers, websites, blogs, squeeze pages.

Other types of traffic can only be used with certain types of offers. Like google search engine traffic can only lead to a normal website because they grade websites by quality score. If you drive google search engine traffic a squeeze page ( a page where you only capture their email and it has not other content) google will not allow it and disapprove your ads or supsend you.

If you use google PPC traffic (pay per click traffic) I have seen where google will allow you to send this traffic to a squeeze page because you are paying for it. google ppc traffic is very costly. some people spend thousands a day to run their ads. I don't reccommend this starting out.

You can develop SEO skills and develop backlinks to you website which will bring free traffic from the search engines, but again google will closely look at your quality and will want you to have good valuable content for the visitor. That is why search engine traffic is so competitive. But remember nothing is really free. You will have to spend a lot of time learning the hundreds of ways to build backlinks and you will need lots of software and tools to do it efficiently. This can cost hundred of dollars for the right software and then you still have to lern how to do it right with the software.

The best bet for a newbie is NOT to bring traffic to your website or offer BUT to bring your offer to the traffic. If you have a website, product or service bring it to where the traffic is. Such as forums or fiverr. Bring your skills or service to the masses. Instead of trying to bring the masses to you.

My best cheapest simplest suggestion is create a service and market it on fiverr and here on the warrior forum. make a little money now and develop you skill untill you know more.

Remember also CPA offers have restrictions on their offers...like no twiiter, no google content network, no banner ads , etc. That is why I said article and video markeitng in the beginning. You can use these tactics with CPA offers, websites, squeeze pages, just about anywhere you will need to do marketing.

I also recommend while you are learning take good notes about what you learn and make a case study while you go. This way by the time you finished learning something you have an ebook or course you can sell to the masses.

Oh one more thing google rarely allows direct linking to clickbank affiliate pages because of the popups. Also adf.ly traffic also does not work with clickbank pages because of the popups.

You can only use certain type of traffic with certain type of offers or styles.

One more thing, don't give up, its worth it.

P.P.S. You should setup a basic website first asap. Your website will be the core of most of your strategies. You will need a place to put your products or CPA offers or building a list or displaying your services. Learn to take payments on your website with paypal. Also you can install analytics into your website to help you determine if your methods are being effective. A simple wordpress site with 5 pages and maybe 5 article posts is all you need to get started. Learning wordpress and setting up a site is very easy. There are a lot of videos on youtube. Setting up hosting , getting a domain and activating wordpress in your cpanel of your hosting account should become second nature. These you should know how to do before you even start to learn how to market. It doesn't cost a lot either.

Ok there you go...that's just a very small part of the big vast internet. This forum is a very good resource. check here about topics before you try to do anything online. You can save a lot of time not trying silly stuff like I did when I first started.

creating products - if you create great products you will continue to make regular sales as it can start to go viral

I would personally say that giving stuff away for free is most probably the best marketing tactic I've ever used, with blogging being on the second place.

Internet marketing is the method or ways to market your product or business, and most of the methods really brings you money, I think it depends on the product that you are selling over the internet that you can say it brings more bucks, I hope I make sense.
