How do you generate flood of traffic

The fastest way to get traffic to your offers is using pay per click marketing. Google, yahoo/msn, bing, 7 search and many other 2nd tier Search engines you can try.

No updates on the latest traffic generating techniques?

Other than google and bing organic try lots of blogs and related forums. Lately I have been using yahoo anwsers with really suprising results.

I was aware that blog posting and forum posting can bring good results but didn't knew much about yahoo answers. I think I should give it a try.

Yahoo answer of course drive traffic if you are in the right category with valuable answers. When any of my answer selected as best answer, I get bunch of traffic from it.

The money is not in the list but in the relationship with the list. What good is a list of 100,000 emails that are on their for the wrong reason or you've never contacted before (i.e. cold).

As for traffic, all methods still work... just keep trying different methods until you find one that is profitable. Send each traffic source to a different landing page and test which one converts best/brings in the most buyers/optins per visitors.

Personally, I'm an SEO guy so I generally start there.

Getting 'laser targeted' traffic is always better than getting large amounts of general traffic.

A few different ways. (1) content marketing/blogging, (2) JV's, and (3) PPC.

one thing you need to start understanding is you must get out of the mindset of "what is the latest traffic technique which will flood my site with tonnes of traffic"

99% of the traffic methods that worked well a few years ago still work well today

if you want fast targeted traffic then you have to pay for it, it`s that simple

my favorite 2 methods are solo ads and ppc

with these 2 traffic methods you will have an endless supply of traffic on tap

you just need to make sure you have a half decent sales funnel set up so that you can make
the most of the traffic that you get

ppc and solo ads have been around for years but so many people jump on the hype wagon and talk about all these new twitter, facebook, pinterest etc etc traffic methods

with ppc and solo ads or just one of them, you will have more than enough traffic to tap into

Paid traffic is they way to get fastest traffic.

Affiliates/Jvs are the most powerful ways to draw in loads of targeted traffic!

PPC is the way forward in regards to getting quality and targeted traffic.

Most of the common traffic methods are still valid.However,with e-mail marketing,the open rates are a lot lower than they used to be a couple of years ago.

I have had great success with Youtube marketing,and not only in IM niche,I have build several five figure lists in niches like fitness,relationships and dog training,all with video traffic.

What I have found is in most of the niches,instructional videos work very well.If you intend to build a list with Youtube traffic,use instructional videos.For generating affiliate sales(and leads),review videos work best.

Making instructional videos is not very difficult.In the IM niche,you can use any free tool like your webcam,CamStudio or Windows Movie Maker.For more sofisticated screen capture videos,go with Camtasia.

The same is true for other niches too.You can create quick,lead getting videos by using a few images and audio.If you feel like you don't have enough knowledge of that niche or wouldn't be able to create a great appeal,hire someone who fits the role.

I understand paid traffic is usually the best way to drive massive traffic and build a lists. It a matter you do it right to obtain "Laser Targeted" traffic.

Distinction: a "flood" of traffic won't necessarily give you anything, a stream of TARGETED traffic however, WILL get you what you want, which I presume is SALES.

I am using solo ads and ad swap to build my list. Other ways include forum, article marketing, clasified ad (including banner ad), video (read Youtube), etc.

Send out an email to your list. ^.^

I do not rely on organic traffic too much because if your business is reliant on organic what the hell are you going to do when Google do their thing?

Nope. A business is a business that can afford to pay for traffic and calculate how much each visitor is worth to their business.

Don't discount Social Media though. It is still in its infancy.

Paid traffic is the fastest way to build your list. Solo ads are effective, but costly. You may also consider ad swapping when your list reaches a certain amount of subscribers.

It depends...

If you want traffic QUICKLY, you'll need to use paid methods -- PPC, PPV, banner ads, etc.

If COST is more important than speed, you can use a variety of methods such as article marketing, free classified ads, blogging, etc.

There are no traffic "secrets."

Back-Linking is the key to a successful website after the Penguin update early last year. The more back-links to your site, the more traffic you will get.

I would recommend using a bit of all the strategies listed above. Diversification is key when you are creating back-links, and over the long-term Google will start picking up these back-links and your site will rank better on SERPs!

Also, don't get too down on yourself if the website does not succeed for the first few months. An average website takes from 3 months to 2 years to start picking up traffic faster.

Whether you decide to get paid or free traffic you need unique targeted traffic. Posting blog and forum comments on sites related to your niche can be rewarding. There is also social media sites where you can make connections on another level.
It's all about discipline and planning.
If you want to pay for traffic try posting campaigns on facebook, placing banner ads on blogs and forums.

There's one equation that you should remember here: Money = Speed.

Use paid advertising to drive traffic. My favorite is banner ads and solo ads.

Google Adwords is good if they dont ban your account. Microsoft Adcenter works well only in certain niches. Paying for advertising on high traffic websites and blogs will work well for you too. But you should also try your hand at some free marketing strategies. One in particular is Youtube.

IMO, the best method of getting a big injection of targeted traffic, are solo-ads. If you're working with the right people, you can get astonishing results.

For beginners, the aim is to build a list of 1000-1500 people quickly and then use is for listswap to grow it quickly.
