Would you know how to separate simple data such as this...?

Hi guys and gals,

I'm trying to find a way to separate some generated data that I have. Lets say I generate a list of names as follows...

John
Kate
Mary
Susan
Lisa

And later I go on to generate another list of names...

Phil
Mike
Kate
Susan
Dave

I have excel but I only know how to delete duplicate data which would still end up keeping the old names which I want out of my newly generated list. How could I get rid of "Kate & Susan" and still keep "Phil, Mike & Dave"?

Thanks in advance!

When you paste into excel you should be able to specify the separator. That will allow you to put each piece of data into a separate cell.
