whats the best way to create a product

i know i'm new and i have no experience and i'm learning but how do you get ideas for creating products? and is this the logical way to be thinking?
what should i be doing as a newbie after reading a lot and feeling comfortable with my next step?

    Not creating a product, imo. I think you should be spending time in the trenches and promoting good affiliate offers, building your list, and then move onto product creation once you have a more comfortable grasp on this business.

    To answer your question more thoroughly, digital products can be written ebooks, powerpoint presentations, software apps, audiobooks, videos, website themes, etc.

    I'll answer the question that is highlighted in red below.

    First, you create a product because someone or a group needs it. It's either you solve the 'need' through your product or create a 'need' and create your product afterwards.

    There are two things I can recommend you to do.
    1. Join a mastermind group or two. Build relation with your fellow members. Observe the common denominator of which area they need help the most. If they don't proactively discuss their needs or help-items, you ask.
    2. Go to ClickBank or Amazon. Find the best-selling products according to niche. Create your own version which is way better than what people can get from those top-selling products (e-books, reports, courses, etc).

    Think of a problem you are currently dealing with and see if there's any solution offered on the Internet. Then, break down this solution and pick a section of it that you can go into greater depth with. Examine all your problems and then start looking at other people's problems. The money is in the solutions and how well they are presented.

    I would run a survey to that market while promoting an affiliate offer to get a good feel for what they want and more importantly what kind of stuff gets them results.

    You need to have a good understanding of what peoples wants, needs and desires are in whatever niche your going to be creating products in.

    Also spend time in forums and reading blogs in that niche, it can also be very helpful to read sales pages to. You want a true deep understanding of what problems the niche is facing, how you can solve them, and there deep inner most desires, fears and end result goal is.
