Can you sell your book as a pdf file in the Amazon Kindle Select program or only mobi/ePub?

Hi guys,

I am just in the editing process for my first motivational book and I would like friends and family to be able to read it during the 5 days of free downloads each month that I heard about in the Kindle select program. The problem is that not all my friends and family have a Kindle and I don't neccessarily have the email addresses of my co-workers and other acquaintances so that I can send them PDFs directly.

I am counting on a lot of friends and family to promote the book in terms of getting it rated high on Amazon so this would be of great help.

    You don't actually need a Kindle in order to read an ebook.

    Your friends can download a program that allows them to read Kindle books on their computer.

    Kindle itself offers "Kindle for PC," and it's free to download and use.
