The Key To Being Successful At Internet Marketing And Everything Else

1. You must be consistent at everything you do.

2. You must have the ambition to succeed.

If you follow those two rules, success will follow. If you don't follow through you won't get anywhere... I tell my family and friends the exact same thing.

I have to admit that I have mentioned this a few other times on WF as replies to threads. As long as I have a positive influence on others I will continue to do so.

I'm on vacation and I'm going back to flying my R/C Heli...

Another advice for people with some cash. But high-end products from top gurus, like John Reese and Mike Filsaime. Traffic Secrets 2.0 and 7figurecode are really good.

What good are those two items if you don't take action?

Because you can consistently be doing nothing...lol

You should also have a plan which includes small goals as well as larger ones. You should also create deadlines for each one of those goals so you can be accountable to yourself.

There is quite a bit more involved but fundamentally all the above will apply.

Taking action is part of ambition. If you don't take action, you have no ambition, in my eyes.

If I have the ambition to own a yacht, I am going to do everything I can to get my yacht! If I don't take steps to get my yacht, and I keep procrastinating, I have no ambition!

If I simply had the desire to own a yacht but did absolutely nothing to get it, is that really ambition? It's just a dream and nothing more.

Respectfully in my humble opinion I think that's its understood that by consistency he means Consistency with your actions...without consistency we have nothing..

I also agree with your list too - we need to set a plan and goals and trust me Im all for deadlines - one time I set a 7 day deadline because I was participating in a 7 day challenge and in a day I made about $280.00USD - this was great! so I agree with you big time on that statement!

Being ambitious and consistent, while a part of IM (or building any business), is not enough.

If you follow the direct mail marketers, frank kern, Mike Filsaime, Yanik Silver, ect...., then you would know that a fleshed out plan (both front end and back end) are the largest determining factor to long term success (once you have an offer and a buyer).

If it were as easy as being ambitious and consistent, there would be more people earning a living online as IMers. Not raining on anyone's parade...just stating my OP

Well you can't create a product without having ambition to do it. You can't promote your product successfully without being consistent. How would you come up with a plan without ambition? How would you stick to the plan without consistency?

In my eyes an ambitious person is a person that takes action. No action? Where's the ambition? It's gone... If they think about it without taking action it's only a dream and nothing more.

People that "fail" in internet marketing just quit because they don't see results right away. They might have been consistent for a short amount of time. They quit and lose the ambition to follow through.
