Hello, I was wondering if you would consider it to be too late to try and take advantage of Halloween coming up soon and build a niche site around selling things for Halloween(amazon, afflitates, etc).

I am a newbie so would it be feasible I could be successful by Halloween with traffic and generating some kind of profit? Or would it be best to take the time now and start researching things for Christmas?

How far out (in months)would you suggest I need to be to get into Holiday niches and start with research and building the site, traffic and what not?

I hear you, but why not focus on a niche that is hot all-year round, and that you can earn backend income from?

If holiday or travel leisure is your niche, you need to focus on doing backlinks with hotel sites, air travel sites as well.

In my opinion if you trying to promote through SEO it's to late to start and compete with the big holiday niches.

You can however promote small niches and get your traffic from media buying / JV / email lists etc.

    Hi cipha

As Randall Magwood said why not focusing on long-term, and get income every month?

It all depends how much knowledge do you have, about how to get targeted traffic to you site. If you are newbie that is very little chance to succeed.

    My advice:
I will whoose the any niche with life-time commissions. You will build great assets for your living.

Hope that was helpful for you.

It all depends on two things:

Your site(s) and how quickly you can put them up and how fast you are able to drive traffic to these sites.

If your site(s) is up, you can possibly drive traffic to them via PPC, which is going to cost you some money, but the traffic can come much faster.

If you plan on doing seo, then try to find nice long tail keywords that are buyer keywords. Then just get quality backlinks and try to get your site(s) ranked.

It's not too late to cash in on the Halloween sales. Even if your campaign isn't a super performer, you'll still have a headstart for next year.

We are a major costume retailer, so check out my signature link to get signed up before the holiday is in full swing.
