porn stars and American Knickers

Sorry, I meant Pawn Stars and American Pickers. Two of my favouite programmes from the States right now (yes, we get that stuff shipped over here to the UK can you believe).

Annnnnnyway, my point being, if you are one of those people who like to look for untapped and obscure niches, you could do a lot worse than watch those programmes. For example, the other day there was a lady who liked to colled Antique bells from sunken ships. There is also a market for people who like to collect stuff relating to the Apollo missions.

From watching American Pickers, it seems there is a big market for people collecting old advertising signs, or fruit machines, and allll kinds of stuff. Anyway, what I'm saying is if you keep your radar spinning, you can see allo sorts of things cropping up that can give you niche ideas.

Yeah those shows are a real goldmine for finding niche markets. Although personally I can't stand American Pickers.

Haha, the oldest marketing trick in the book. Posting at the warrior can be a great way of testing headlines actually

I think you either love them or hate them. Still, you have to admire their enthusiasm, especially the thinner guy. You'll notice that many of the people who get picked for TV may not be the best in their market, but are the most fun to watch. The same could be said for celebrity chefs. Maybe there is a lesson that can be taken from this, especially when doing your own videos. If you look at any videos from Kevin Riley (fellow Warrior), he is always sooooo enthusiastic when he talks about his subject....especially if you get him on the subject of hamsters!!!

It's funny I watched the show many times just to see the wackyness and never noticed you could find niche's.

        Thanks

Yeah, it's a good exercise. You should try and do it on a daily basis. Listen to what people say, what they complain about, what hobbies they have, stories they tell. After a while, you start to realise how many niches are out there!! It's not all golf, dating and weight loss.
