Getting Traffic Is Easy! Let Me Explain...

Warriors,

Many, many people struggle with the concept of traffic. I hear it all the time on other forums where people struggle to get quality traffic that converts.

Things like "Getting traffic is so hard", "I can't get enough traffic" and more.

When you look at it, it's a simple science (if that's what you want to call it).

You need to spend some time really looking at your niche and the consumers within it. Get a few sheets of paper and literally scour the web using Google and it's various tools.

What you are aiming to do is identify where your target visitors are hanging out, or, what websites these people are frequenting.

Once you are armed with this information you can go over there and attract their eyeballs back to your website. That's what traffic generation is! Moving people from one website to another.

So, here's a few examples that might help you understand where I'm coming from.

1) (Keyword Tool) Are your target visitors typing keywords into Google? Then you need to work on ranking for these keywords to get your site in front of them.

2) (Google Discussion Search) Are your target visitors hanging around in forums? Sign up and take part with a call to action in your signature area.

3) (Facebook) Are you target visitors on Facebook? Set up a Fan Page for your website and get to work on promoting it either using FB ads or a free method and start interacting.

4) (Banner Ads) Are you target visitors reading blogs on the topic? Can you purchase ad space on these blogs? A simple white banner with black text and yellow border works much better than a fancy graphic sometimes (you'll have to do your own testing of course).

These are only a few examples but hopefully that will help you to understand that traffic generation is easy when you realise that you just need to find out where your customers are hanging out, then go attract their attention!

The key is to be consistent. There is no magic 'click this and you'll have a flood of traffic'. Use your logic and the traffic will come.

Great topic, I look at it this way. There's a method I use. I find keywords I'm targeting. Then, I search google and check out the top 10 sites on my given keyword. Then, I simply contact these site owners and see if they offer text link or banner advertising if they don't already have it on their page. You'd be surprise how some would offer a month text link for like $50 that could result in 1,000's of clicks.
