Anyone who has success on the internet thinks differently.

Then, there are people who are wildly successful either due to the family they were born into or because of stupid luck.

The majority of rich people think: "i'm going to get xxxxx one day."
Poor people usually think: "I wish I could get a xxxxx one day."

Thanks for the article pretty good until it got to donald trump lolol.

Donald Trump is a product of his fathers money. I like folks that came up on their own without the old money, old connections etc. you know, like Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey and a ton of others.

Some parts of the article were good. I do think most people think the same no matter how poor, rich or middle-class that you are.

Unfortunately, A lot of celebrities, people on TV and people who are romanticized in the media were just a product of being lucky in the gene pool. They got lucky by being born into the right family and were handed everything.

Yes, people like Steve Jobs definitely inspire me. He can prove that rich can be achieved, with lots of work and effort of course, but the result really sweet

That may be true about Donald Trump, but he also made it back from being $9 billion in debt without his father's help. He has a money mindset.

Yepper. Trump's dad was a well to do Queens millionaire. Trump could have been content to take over and do very well for himself. Instead he repeatedly gambled, took risk, and became a household brand name. Sure, he started off in a good position, but he still outperformed his father by a huge margin.

uhhhh, when your dad is a billionaire you always got help and a circle of rich friends lolol.

next thing we will be discussing is how bill gates made it on his own even though his mom sat on the boards of companies like IBM and his father was a big time lawyer lol

Great article dude. Welcome to the warrior forum. I applaud your efforts and contributions. You just put it out there and took some action. That shows guts and initiative.

English is obviously your second language as well and you still decided to post an interesting article. The IMers here can get a little touchy sometimes especially with newbies. Some of them can get pretty aggressive and tear you to shreds.

You went a little overboard and a got a little sensationalistically over eager of course. Becoming a billionaire online in IM doing clickbank, cpa offers, writing ebooks, creating e-products or whatever is definitely a mathematical stretch.

Don't get too sensitive. Thicken up your skin. You are new to the community and some of these guys will eat you alive if you make broad generalized and exaggerrated statements. Keep posting and contributing but keep learning as well.

I don't know how old you are but I am sure some rude grouchy person or persons may have criticized you harshly at some point in your life. It probably hurt and stung a little or a lot. You may have even been ruthlessly teased about something. But if any or most of it was actually true then truth is still truth if a person tosses it to you gently or they whack you repeatedly over the head with it.

You also probably learned or made some adjustments or corrections after the experience that resulted in some type of positive change for you.

So keep up the good work but you may have to modify or temper your presentation and your expectations next time.

No that is not what we are discussing. Do you really think it's that easy to recover from being $9 billion in debt? What I'm saying here in case you don't understand, is that you need a certain mindset to not only make money but to then be able to recover from your losses. It doesn't matter how he got his start, what matters is that he was able to get himself out of an astronomical debt. And since his dad has been dead since 1999 I hardly think he got any help from him.

If he had the right mindset he wouldn't have gone into debt in the first place.

That's too simplistic. Economic downturns affect everyone, whether rich or poor. Some make it and some don't. Those who have the right attitude manage to recoup their losses and recover.

Point well made, this is why one of my values is risk management. Or in other words not putting all of your eggs in one basket and having a solid disaster and recovery plan in case shit hits the fan.

Well, it's like I said earlier merchant business is the lowest form.

This all goes back to where the article was taking us. It's all about how we think.

So true. It's all about mindset. Without the right type of mindset, you will either fail and never reach your goals, or you will take a long time getting there.

Believing in yourself and what you are capable of is extremely powerful.

This one is definitely NOT worth reading. After the first four statements I closed this page of dross you've linked to. And where you received the divine inspiration to headline your thread with "This is what you need to make BILLIONS online" heaven only knows.

Rich people think no differently than working class people. We are all human beings with the same emotions, needs, and inbuilt desires. A working man gains as much satisfaction from fish and chips as a rich person would from caviar (which is revolting anyway). How would you know how a rich person thinks if you've never been rich yourself?

Working class, middle class, or rich . . . the single uniting factor is that ALL DECENT FOLK understand that nothing in life is free. It has to be worked for. Whether it's using mummy and daddy's millions, a remortgage or bank loan, or part of your unemployment benefits to set yourself up online - they all still require effort, commitment, and a rigid work ethos, or they will fail.

You don't need to try and define differences between 'classes', and you certainly don't need to come on WF trying to convince newbies that understanding class differences can make them £billions.

Stop dreaming and get in the real world, or have you already missed the boat?

Focusing on our IM goals and making a living is one thing. Claiming you can make £billions by reading a 'class distinction' article is another.

WF has a plethora of duplicate or meaningless threads posted every day, many of which are kindly left up by the Mods out of respect (and a dose of sufferance) to the many newbies who post them. But 'billions' in earnings is too over the top a statement to make, especially when claiming that knowledge of class distinction can achieve it.

If you really want to take action and stop dreaming YOURSELF, immerse your mind in some of the helpful and informative threads posted by the weathered pros on here . . . rather than trying too hard as a novice to impress - when you haven't even reached the first hurdle in the race yet.

well... your statement definitely match with your avatar.
Argue with other people, write negative statement, spreading sarcastic bitterness around, that's bad.

why don't you take the positive lesson from the article. it's not a debate thread.

For a novice with big aspirations but little in the way of common sense, I am quite surprised you are able to group words such as 'negative', 'sarcastic' and 'bitterness' in the same sentence. Your type always resort to being pedantic and defiant to the end and it's been seen many times before on the forum. A little fish trying to make a big splash.

It's not a debate I agree, but if you still refuse to acknowledge the fact that earning 'billions' online, as you say, has anything to do with class distinction, then simply set up a poll and see the results.

You're not worth responding to on the thread any further as a narcissist won't admit the presence of the hangman's noose until his feet are swinging in the air.

One of the things I think you'll come to appreciate, here, is that the person starting off the thread doesn't necessarily get to determine whether or not it's a "debate thread" (but a title with such a dramatic claim as the one you chose does greatly increase the chances of that).

I do believe, right mindset is the most important thing to learn for newbies like me. With right mindset, now, I can create hundred dollars, this month. I believe I can achieve thousand dollars next month, and who know, with better investing plans, I can make billions next year.

But, I really appreciate your advice.

Okay, so this different mindset may not make you billions LOL but it certainly holds truth in today's society!

You see, poor people DO think differently than the rich. Poor people are in a constant state of uncertainty wondering how the next bill will be paid or where their child's next meal will come from.

The rich don't ever think or worry about that because their mindstate tells them if they don't have it, they will. The key word that seems to resignate around the rich is the word YET.

Poor people never say to them selves, "I don't have $10,000 YET", or "I don't have that Porche YET". They are saying to themselves: "I dont know how to pay that bill", or "how will I pay for the car repairs"

Folks should look up Jamie Tardy, she has a great membership site called The Eventual Millionaire and it is all about interviews she has done with successful millionaires, people with a true net value of a million plus and you will see the mind is very different when it comes to segmenting the rich and the poor!

            All the best,
            Johnny

I am entirely in accord with you on this one, as many of my past posts will show. But you've obviously missed the point here which is; there is no connection between class distinction - rich or poor - and with IM and making serious money (or £billions as the OP stated). Anyone can make it, as has been proven many times.

Wild claims like the OP has made only serve to create a ridiculous mindset within newbies to IM.
              {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[6963656].message }}

Although the article linked to by the OP trots out many of the usual generic platitudes, the underlying message about the effectiveness of the right mindset is sound. And I think the class issue is being over analysed in this thread. The term "middle class" tends to conjure up a different picture depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on. Broadly, in the US, it's money-based, while in the UK it's more to do with social standing, regardless of one's financial position. I think the article is using it in the US sense.

But the term "world class" which is peppered throughout the article to refer to, it appears, "any rich person", is one that the author seems to have coined. In any case, it's a daft and inappropriate use of the term.

              @dazzvision: A few points, if I may.

              - Threads in the discussion forum are supposed to generate debate. Be grateful. It's better to be debated than ignored.

              - The owner of this forum is NOT Mike Lantz. Your confusion probably stems from your dealing with WarriorPlus which is not part of the Warrior Forum.

              - Generally speaking, the infraction system is not best used to berate other members for disagreeing with you, even if you think they're being unnecessarily rude. And it's definitely not the method to use to contact Admin. If you strongly object to a post, use the report function (the little triangle in the left corner) and let the mods decide the outcome.

              - Affiliate links are not allowed in sig files. Your current sig transgresses that rule and you should remove it or risk losing the privilege.

Other than that, keep learning and try not to take things too personally.

                - Threads in the discussion forum are supposed to generate debate. Be grateful. It's better to be debated than ignored.

                - The owner of this forum is NOT Mike Lantz. Your confusion probably stems from your dealing with WarriorPlus - which is not part of the Warrior Forum.

      Whoa there...

some of the class stereotypes used as examples in the article ring true throughout middle class america, not all middle class. The article even starts out by implying its not all middle class.

"the "jealous" middle class" is the target of the article. the ones who want what the rich have but lack the will to peruse it..

lets use that as an example related to IM.

socio-economic class is the market , middle class is the niche, and jealous middle class is the micro niche.

      not "ALL DECENT FOLK"

Come on folks we all know that there are different views from the different classes.

Someone poor to middle class most likely will think someone with a big fancy home, fancy clothes and cars is rich.

Someone poor to middle class also will tend to idolize others based on what they have been fed by the media.

Someone poor to middle class is more likely to fall for a scam too lolol, mainly because they are not are more focused on who the person is rather than what they are saying and doing.

          Perfect Examples

Donald Trump = Old Money, but many think he is a wiz lol

Bill Gates = Old Money, on top of that his father was a big time lawyer, and his mom sat on the boards of the companies that bill intially made deals with.

Mark Zuckerberg = Front man for the major corps, who btw are more into social experiments, Big Brother comes to mind.

I will say this again. No Guru needs to do wso's to create email lists, or send out 10 WSO offers to your emails every day. lol

And I have talked with millionaires and billionaires online before and even on sites like these. You just have to pay attention to what people are saying to know who they are.

Billionaires are into a little of everything that's the fun part, but the thing we have to realize sooner or later is that merchant business is the lowest form of business in the world. And merchant business is what much of the business in the States is based around.

It doesn't matter where you get your inspiration - as long as it's constructive and pro-active.

What matters is whether you're up to the challenge of putting it to use to transform your life.

There were some interesting points in the article, however, pretty obvious. The rest of the article, I just didn't find as good as you pointed out in the headline of this thread. It could inspire people, that's correct. Nonetheless, clever people already know, how to make big money and they will never tell (unfortunately). :-)

As the OP found it necessary to send me an infraction message accusing me of being negative and having a bad attitude, I think it only fair that my reply to him is also posted on this thread . . . where other newbies may benefit.

      ---------------------------------------------------------------------

"I am neither negative nor is my attitude bad. You should think carefully before you create inappropriate threads.

As a new member you have to learn that you simply can't post wild claims that an article which presents a purely independent view on the differences between classes can make people BILLIONS online . . . however well intentioned it is.

There are many vulnerable and desperate people who turn to IM via WF either looking for a way forward or simply to seek advice. What the article does is waste their time (as class differentiation has nothing whatsoever to do with IM), and what your thread header implies is simply ridiculous.

You can be a good contributing member on the forum in many other ways without having to resort to sensationalization.

Please take this advice in the manner it is intended. To help you".

      ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Defending a position of strength is admirable. Defending a position of weakness is desperation. That aside, flights of fancy belong in the Off Topic forum.

    To hornydevil,

I think it also fair if my infraction message to Mike (WF owner) also posted here.

this is my message to Mike:

Yes, this is not my article but reading it make my me believe on my self that I can achieve my IM goals.

But, unfortunately, someone with username "Horny Devil" always make negative comment:

    "What a load of crap"
"This one is definitely NOT worth reading"
"a novice with big aspirations but little in the way of common sense"
"Your type always resort to being pedantic and defiant to the end and it's been seen many times before on the forum. A little fish trying to make a big splash. "
    etc.

I think this attitude is bad. I see lots of negative comment in WF threads, but he write it in appropriate way.
I have explained in my post that members should take positive lesson from the article and apply it on his IM stuff. But, "horny devil" take it in wrong way.

    Thank you."

I accept your advice but I refuse if you say that I create inappropriate threads.

As a newbie, we need more than just WSO. We need spirit, we need figure, we need strong encourage from other member who have made successfull living from IM.

Maybe you think that the article is just a rubbish, but I think it's pure gold. It's like oasis for me. The article teach you how to think CORRECTLY.
I believe people like steve jobs, oprah, mark zuckerberg and other successful people who dominate 80% money in the world, won't have millions or billions dollars in their bank account if they think like ordinary people.

RIGHT MINDSET will create right attitude, right plans, right organization, right decision! It's all come from your mind. This people work more, think more, do more, create more than other people. In conclusion, steve jobs, oprah, mark zuckenberg have RIGHT MINDSET.

One paragraph of the article say:
"Self-made millionaires get rich because they're willing to bet on themselves and project their dreams, goals and ideas into an unknown future" --- I believe this is the key why they rich. Successful people don't afraid to fight for their dreams, goals and ideas. And that's the reason why I make this thread. I have told you to take the positive lesson from this article.

"Average people have a lottery mentality. Rich people have an action mentality" --- means : Newbies MUST take action of their plans not just jumping from one shiny wso to other wso. The only thing to test the wso is working or not is by applying the methods and see the result.

"Average people think the road to riches is paved with formal education. Rich people believe in acquiring specific knowledge." --- means: Newbies should not take average niche, they should choose spesific niche where they love and enjoy to work with.

Maybe you are already make thousand dollars permonth, so you can easily write this:
"You're not worth responding to on the thread any further as a narcissist won't admit the hangman's noose until his feet are swinging in the air."

    another statement from you:
"Doing wonders for your post count this thread is dazza Eight and still counting."
"What a load of crap. Socio-economic class, jealous middle class . . . A complete load of tripe from a person who likely spends most of their life analysing others, whilst doing very little constructive."
"What the article does is waste their time (as class differentiation has nothing whatsoever to do with IM), and what your thread header implies is simply ridiculous."

Wow, that's awesome... People can see you from the way you write your comment. Don't treat people in the way you don't want to be treated. I believe in WF forum than other forum because I see lots of positive people here who willing to help each other, and I really want to keep and be a part of that positive spirit.

You are right when you say there are lots vulnerable and desperate people who turn to IM via WF either looking for a way forward or simply to seek advice, that's me. But, you know something.. we, especially me, as vulnerable people don't always look for "make money online" methods, but we do look for advice who told us how to set up RIGHT MINDSET so we can create better plans and decision to our IM stuff

I joined WF in feb. I bought lots of shiny wso who I believe the seller have genius methods that can drag massive profit overnight. But, that's wrong! They just ordinary people like me.
Now, after I create better mindset, better plans and better decision, I begin to see the result of what I have been fighting for.

RIGHT MINDSET & STRONG BELIEF can make you BILLIONS, wrong mindset make you poor. Not, only in IM world, but also in our daily life.

    Think BIGGER !!

Really a thought provoking article and a great one.

Right mindset is the corner stone of success.A person with poor thinking cannot achieve big success no matter how hard he tries.

People have made millions and billions with nothing but an idea.If you have the will and if you can put the required amount of effort, you can achieve any goal.

I stopped reading after this statement in the first point:

"That's why there's a certain shame that comes along with "getting rich" in lower-income communities."

lol WTF really??? What a load of BS, in "lower income communities" getting rich is actually the hope and dream.
