Dr. Oz BLASTS Internet Marketers Today on Season Premiere.

So I saw a commercial for a new Dr. Oz episode coming up next on a channel I was watching, it was the season premeire. Sometimes I do watch his show to get some ideas but today it was mainly for the simple fact that what they said in the promo peaked my interest... "Dr. Oz is back and he's mad as hell, my legal rights are being violated and you're all being douped, i'm taking my name back." I had a feeling it had to do with Marketers the way it was being sold and sure enough, it was.

Intrigued I decided to give it a watch, the start of the show was him standing next to a massive pile of the famous Green Coffee Bean Extract, if you're not familiar with what this is, it's basically suppose to be a natural "Miracle" Weight Loss Supplement, remember the whole craze with **** Berry and Raspberry Keytones? same thing. It's been flying off the shelves ever since Dr. Oz did a segment on it. Today it was brought up once again in a similar yet different light, focused around marketers selling it and an in-house study on it's weight loss potential. He actually had all of his audience members take it and plugged it as "the largest experiment on T.V ever."

So half took the Green Coffee Bean Extract, the other took a placebo. they did this ahead of time before they appeared obviously. In short, a lot of people had really good success with it and actually lost weight, so if you're in the weight loss niche and planning on getting some I'd go now because I can see it being harder to find at a good price.

This was the first show of the new season and due to the experiment and clever promotion around this product etc, etc, it should be very popular in a lot of homes and conversations right now, if you Google Dr. Oz without hitting search Dr. Oz Green Coffee is #3 BUT NOW.. this is where it starts to go downhill.

The rest of the show was centered around Internet Marketers promoting the stuff he talks about, he also made sure to say "I NEVER endorse the products I have on my show" he had someone actually come on the show and demonstrate how easy it is to setup a site to sell a product with his face next to it. In the meantime through out all of this there were a ton of fancy voice over collages with video of websites selling everything he's mentioned in his shows.. **** Berry, Raspberry Keytones, Green Coffee Bean etc, most of the websites had his picture next to these products as if he was selling or endorsing them in some way.


Dr. Oz was asking the guy all kinds of questions, here's a few I remember.


Dr. Oz:
"So who are the people doing this?"

Douche in Suit:
"They are everyone from mom & pop shops to the average person with a small business, anyone that wants to sell these products"

Dr. Oz:
"So basically it's just people who want to make money off of my name?"

Douche in Suite:
"Exactly"

Dr Oz:
"This is incredible, is there anything we can do to stop it? I've never heard of anything like this."

Douche in Suite:
Unfortunately the internet isn't policed so there are no laws against it.


The questions went on but by now I'm sure you can tell what's going on, he was totally bashing everyone selling the products he has mentioned, he even talked about legal action. He thinks the whole thing is a massive mafia and he needs to take down everyone selling the products he talks about.

The whole show was basically devoted to telling the public not to buy from Internet Marketers, he was very blunt and rude towards anyone who makes a dime online. If you think this was just about people selling the products with his picture or name that's far from true, the whole show was basically geared towards Internet Marketers who just sold weight loss supplements in general.



Just thought I would give this a mention, not sure if what he said will hurt anyone that markets these products in the weight loss game, for all I know it could help due to him doing such a large scale test to his own audience, I guess we'll see.
