Ways to track traffic/clicks

I am trying to build a list, I have set up a squeeze page, exit popups, sales funnel, another squeeze page after one of the exit popup which offers another free gift.... etc, etc.

I am able to track clickbank sales by inserting the "?tid" at the end of the affiliate link, however, what are some best ways to track which click got to which page, and opted-in, and/or which click come from which page that purchased my product?

I've found quite a few of the click tracking software out there, however, before I'm getting some income back from my list, I decided to save my budget for solo ads... are there any free software that does good jobs on tracking clicks and/or split-testing?

Thank you

Nothing free that I would recommend.

There's a great one out for only $27 that does everything you likely need. It's called Demon Tracking. I've been recommending it for a couple weeks to my members.

Try StatCounter. It is an alternative to Google's Analytics. What's good about StatCounter is that it has a built in clicks tracker and even downloads tracker in it.

      Hope this helps.

I'm currently using Google Analytics for all my websites and Adtrackz Gold + Link Supercharge for tracking clicks and subscribers. It's a bit messy for me but I keep track of everything.

Adtrackz Gold make the cloaked link look obvious so I got link supercharge to keep a little less suspicious. People are generally well educated with links so it's important to cloak everything. Especially when it comes to your affiliate link as some people could actually put your link onto a porn site and you could get your account banned.

  • Great questions Ellie Days,

Getclicky.com (as mentioned by a previous member) is a good solution. You may have to modify the code a bit because the default installation has tools that popup at the bottom of the screen that users can see.

If you use Google Analytics you can set up goal URL’s and require steps in a funnel to track a user’s path through your sale funnel. You can also create custom URL’s in analytics to differentiate which URL it was that brought you a conversion.

Here is a link to the URL builder in analytics,

If you want to check out Getclicky, here is the link,

    Hope that helps,
