IMHO, it looks not too bad, except the social network buttons - are they suppose to be in the middle of boundary of two sections? it looks kind of odd to me.

Other than that, I think the way how all the posts flying down to load older posts is kind of cool.

And keep on going with the great work!

  It looks good, but there is similar sites getting a hell of a lot of traffic (this is why i am broke. com).
  
  How will you generate traffic and how will you make it a different experience from other similar websites? That is what will make or break the site.

  Well compared to my site it looks amazing. But with the uneven slanted design I find it a bit messy. Especially when you scroll down and more drop into place. Thats just my opinion though. Cheers.

  To be honest Thisiswhyimbroke is where a bit of my motivation came from. I think that's where I want to separate myself is with a bit of sex appeal. On the level of, say Maxim. Some cute women, a party atmosphere, etc. I've not been too much into social media but I think this may be a learning experience in that regard.

Your website take so long to load mate. You need to put less information on the home page. Your home page is filled with lots and lots of information(photos too). You need a short home page and design should be center aligned.

Myself, I really love it.

Buuut... I have excellent Internet connection (speed is not an issue). But as you already know, most Internet users battle with slow loading websites daily. Because of all that information, photos and animation you have on your home page, your bounce rate will be huuuge...

Try testing the speed in which it loads from different parts of the world, where they might not have the privilege to a cool Internet connection like ours.

Just my 2 cents.

  I have it set to only load 9 posts at one time, is it really that slow? That's a big concern. I'm switching hosts this month. But, I've optimized it according to Google to be a 83 at this point. There are lots of scripts running though... Hmmm

I really like it. The design is very nicely done.... Two things that came across my mind.

1. The loading of next posts takes really long time - on the contrary, the visualization of it is really nice.

2. I just can't get myself used to the free space on the right side of the page. It just seems that it is wrongly centered.

  I've been having some trouble with the buttons, I've tried a few colors. Green, blue, etc. None of them seemed to go, but I just created a new button that I think fits. What do you think?

Looks good, pennyroll. Similar to Pinterest look and feel.

By the way, not sure if it in in violation of Amazon's TOS, you may want add some disclosure on earnings, etc.

What theme is this? Paid or free.

  The theme Shaken grid, they have a free version and a paid version, I'm using the free version. I've made quite a few changes to it and added isotope and infinite-scroll functionality.

Overall the site looks very good, but on a few occasions I was reading a product description and the next products "dropped" into place, interrupting my reading.

To me this was distracting enough to stop reading your products. I might be able to live with the distraction of more content flying on the screen from right-to-left, but from top-to-bottom is too distraction.

I only speak for myself... While I can appreciate the need to "not wait" or "click to load more content" like other sites, this is certainly overshadowed by the interruption of flying content through what I am reading.

Aside from that, I think the site looks great; I like the social buttons.

I think that the "cool novelties" and "gift ideas" niche is a great one to get in to!

  Thanks! My target audience is basically the same as Maxim Magazine. Mostly guys who like parties, beer, gadgets, cool stuff, and women who like the same. Age range, probably college to 100!
