Creating a Killer WSO Advice

I am in the process of developing a product, considering offering it as a WSO.
Other than creating a great product and sales page, what advice would you give someone on creating a Killer WSO.

Thanks

It all starts with a great product. That is key.

    Next is great sales copy.

Third is the promotion of the product and that mean lots of affiliates.

      1) Great Product - Paramount if you want to make sales. Because if the product sucks, regardless of everything else you do. Word will spread.

      2) Great sales page - Both in terms of the visuals and copywriting. It doesn't matter how much traffic affiliates are driving to your offer if it doesn't convert.

      3) Good OTO - This isn't absolutely necessary, but helps to attract affiliates and gives you the option of offering 100% commission on the front end product if you desire + still make money.

      4) Good reviews - If you can get some well respected Warriors posting positive (yet truthful) reviews soon after your launch then that will help to sell your product to others.

      5) Good JV Partners - Getting good JV partners / affiliates is integral to a WSO success. Set up a JV page in advance of your launch to make affiliates aware.

Offer decent commissions - sometimes 100% on the front end for lower priced products. Consider setting up a contest and offering prizes for affiliates who make X number of sales etc.

Offer tools to help affiliates out such as e-mail swipe files etc.

Make sure to let any serious affiliates check out the product first.

And offer to reciprocate for those who help you.

      6) Set up a pre launch - Not integral but common these days. This gets the WSO thread 'buzzing' with comments before the product is launched. It also offers you the chance to build your list with people signing up for 'early bird access'. It gives you the opportunity to give out some information for free to build trust with prospects.

Best advice you could ever get for launching you own WSO.

Totally agree with all 6 points but i would like to stand in the product creation. If your product sucks, you may still get some sales but it won't be good for your reputation.

So, put all your efforts in creating a killer product that everyone would like to buy. And then concentrate in the other 5 points that 4DayWeekend has mentioned.

One thing, I was taught when it comes to product promotion, is to make it a no brainer offer & over deliver on the product.

Great advice thanks, really appreciate it.
From my understanding, those that do really well also spend time and effort driving traffic to their WSO, rather than just posting their product and waiting for members to part with their cash.

        What do you think?

Have more than 6 posts on this particular forum, all giving sound advice. And build a good reputation.

There are times where I'll purchase from someone with no reputation here - but they are far and few and I look for a footprint of where that person has already established themselves on the web.

      Your right Jill.
Another thing, I've notice & realised is not just relie on just having a WSO and expecting people to come to it, you've got to drive traffic to it too.

Yep. You only get perhaps an hour or two before you are whooshed from the front page. Bumping can be costly. This is why you will want to come up with some alternative traffic strategies.

Also, some people look at using the sales pages that are entirely a graphic. To me this is a shot in the foot because you loose all SEO advantages from the ad itself.

I've had people find my offers who were not members of this forum and found them strictly from using the general search engines.
