Will rightly followed up with the point that taking action in the right direction will produce really good results, but the key thing is that you have to take any kind of action at all in order to know if something will work or not.

This is wrong on so many levels. Everyone will fail at times but I myself would rather know I was following a well laid plan that already has a proven track record.

Hi Ja,

That teaching which based on examples is the most useful to the teacher and the student as well. Obviously, both of you can make a good result if cooperation exists between the parties.

Unfortunately this is not always the case, as we can experience. The world's best teacher can not produce good results if there is no receptivity from the other party.

Whatever weaknesses are obviously something wise people don't want to scream about. But to know them is beneficial to yourself so that you know your limitations and things you need to improve.

Back when I taught hunter safety classes, we always had a section on what to do if you got lost. More people got into deeper trouble "just taking action" and charging off than just sitting still and letting help come to them.

We heard over and over again, "I can't just do nothing..."

So we taught them a little rhyme that gave them something to do that wouldn't make the situation worse.

"When in worry or in doubt
run in circles, scream and shout."

Once the initial nervous energy and panic wore down, the lost party could sit down and think rationally. Then take appropriate activity.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step - in the right direction...

I don't know if there is a secret or not but for me some tasks that I was during before was a waste of time. If you stop wasting time you can get more done in 12 days than most people can get done in 1 year.

  Definitely taking action is important! But I think it is
  only half of the secret..
  
  The other half is in the follow-up, e.g
  Analyzing the results of that action, and making changes
  then taking more action..
  
  Then when your action is producing profits,
  leverage your proven formula by,
  scaling it up, outsourcing it and/or automating it..

Well, I have to disagree. You can be more active than everyone, but if you are not active doing the right things, then you are spinning your wheels.

The first thing i learned when i first started with Internet Marketing is TAKING ACTION. Will's right though.You SHOULD take action. But you should take action "using" the correct steps otherwise you just remain to the same place.

I have seen people taking action and still fail to earn some money.Just think about it.

Blue? Maybe the jokes were a bit more risque then.

As for activity; reading this post is activity, getting out of bed is activity, buying a WSO is activity, reading a book is activity. EVERYTHING we do is activity. The alternative is inertia.

All of us know that you have to be active to accomplish anything, and it's hardly the number one secret (or secert as you so eloquently put it) in IM. So your post is telling us nothing new whatsoever.

I understand the theory of starving yourself but i also understand that common sense is even more rare these days.

if the current action your taking is not of a benefit to you then , your common sense should kick in and tell you to do something different!

But I understand Common sense is super rare ! These days anyways!

Everyone back and forth taking it one way or the other !

At the end of the day every small or big thing you do requires some form of
action. There is no way any thing is more important than action !

We learn from actions, even if we fail. We will always learn more from fail action
than no action .

That well laid plan you following may not be the correct action for you . So there's
still a high risk that you will still fail.

but atleast you took action .

Before you even open a small report to read it. You took the action to open it.

At the end of this conversation ACTION IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT

No offense, but in a logical sense, Activity alone wont bring you success. If you're active, and doing the wrong things, your activity wont work.

Digging a hole in the wrong place can't be considered as a good days work. Because you're going to have to fill it back in and re-dig it in the correct place tomorrow.
