Hi, does anyone know any good way or tool to promote service via twitter? As I believe twitter traffic should be good.

I like to use two tools, tweet adder and hoot suite. Not sure if they are tools in which you require cause your question was a little vague.

Tweet adder is great for auto following and unfollowing twitter profiles while hoot suite is a way to stay on top of things on a personal level.

      Hi Surminga,
Did you have any concrete results (sales) through Twitter traffic?
      Thank you.

I can't speak for him, but usually social media works best for branding and keeping your business on people's minds rather than for making direct sales.

Are all of your Twitter followers genuine?
Trading a follow for follow is not a good way to build a list. Also stay away from paid followers.
If you continue to tweet quality and relevant information to your niche, the followers will slowly but surely begin to grow. I have had significant success from low follower twitter pages (200-300 followers) which convert very reasonably, about 5-10%, and then you get pages with the less relevant followers which you will make zero conversions. It takes time, but it is definitely worth it in the long run to build a follower base of users who choose to follow you on their own accord.

Build a targeted audience and most importantly don't just blast out offers all the time, build a relationship with your followers first. You can do this by sending out high quality content that helps people.

You can build a targeted audience by searching for other twitter accounts in your niche with a large amount of followers and then you can follow their followers.

Don't follow any more than 50 people per day at least until you've followed around 500-1000, it's really annoying getting your Twitter account banned.

For Twitter you should just focus on connecting with people who are interested in the same things that you are. Don't overflow your feed with links to your product, website or service. Provide useful information and remember to have fun!

Signup to Social Oomph, and use their twitter tools. Most notably "autofollow", and scheduled release of your twitter posts.

If you don't mind doing some manual following, you can go to the TwitterFall site and type in search terms (geo targeted if you want also), and see real time drop down results. You can follow people immediately. It's free to use and I've used it at times to monitor keyword tweets and then follow the people who look like they could use my services. If they follow back, then I send them a direct message later.

Just don't use it to spam or send automated messages. Keep it real all the way and you'll get some real responses.

Yep, it's the basics really, offer good informative helpful content and you will start to gain followers naturally. Better to have 10 followers interested in your tweets than 1000 dead accounts.

It's a bit shaky these days since Twitter took aggressive action on twitter developers, the best IMO was Tweetattacks...but alas that is gone. I also developed Twitter software but took my sites down after what happened to tweetattacks. Tweet adder have been completely unphazed by the possible legal consequences...so their software might be a alternative.

However the only solution IMO is to have an account creator, because it's a numbers game and using multiple accounts with proxies will get you the conversions you need, (because they are very small). With 100 aged accounts I believe it is possible to make $50 a day (as that's what some people I know were making)

As I said before it's a numbers game and you are going to need the software to automate the process. If you want to discuss this further then PM me I might have some ideas for you.

    Cheers Rob

Twitter can bring you a good amount of traffic if you use it wisely. I wouldn't use software like Tweet adder or other similar.

Thing is you have to build your followers ONE-BY-ONE. Search for people you might have the same interests and follow them. Most of them will follow you back.Give to them something valuable.Do not always promote/sell stuff.

If you build credibility, you will gain more and more followers and thus a good amount of traffic. It takes time but it's worth it.

I totally agree with you, but not everyone is going to be able to establish such a rapport with their followers...or has the time to do so. I don't want to be on Twitter all day, I'd rather have an automated solution and offer quality information combined with the links that I'd like to promote.

I don't market on twitter...the conversions just are not that great. Hootsuite is never going to deliver the results either IMO, it's a numbers game and you need the volume to get the results.

        .
I agree.Neither do i wanna spend all day on Twitter. But truth is that it takes time and/or money to make money. Usually it takes both. This is just my way of thinking.

Maybe a good combination of both automated solutions and time spent growing your followers would be the best,if you are really interested on Twitter traffic.

        Cheers

I've used tweetadder for over a year now and I'm really happy with it.

You can use it to build a targeted following and tap into RSS feeds of regularly updated blogs in your niche to keep your followers engaged with fresh updates.

If you market properly and slip in the odd promo tweet you can can make good money this way - there's no need to spam.

I'd like to use what I call a "Vicious circle" for marketing Twitter, facebook, youtube, G+, Salespider pages. It is that you post links to all pages from each page, so your twitter account will be marketed via FB, youtube, G+ and Salespider.

I wouldn't advice you to use services which can bring followers to your account.
In my opinion this game isn't about the numbers, it's about how much your followers are willing to share, interact, give mentions, create and give values to others.

It's all about being social. People like to see when someone retweet their tweets. Sharing is carrying! So be patient, make connection and build up your account slowly! The results will come if you stick to the rules! Otherwise social media sites wouldn't be so much popular!

Quality over quantity (which is what most ppl are saying)

I use TweetAdder, and this is one strategy which works well for me:

      1. Interact with another good account of someone in your niche (with whom u share a common target audience with). Reply and RT this person.
      2. Auto follow their followers. Since it's a common audience, they're more likely to be interested in you and your niche.

      good luck,
