Do you try the products you recommend via email?

I'm curious, do you guys try every product you send out a swipe email for? Or do you typically just see if the copy is good and send our your affiliate email?

I feel like it would be better to actually try the product first to make sure it's good, which would help long term profits.

Well if the pre-seller is honest, then why not try a product before recommending it ? If the product deliver what it promises it would be interesting to buy it.

I mostly have to use something and know that it really does what it says it does before I promote it to anyone.

I'm always looking for stuff that is easy to use, free or not too expensive and really works for more than just the top marketers if the people actually follow the instructions.

So far, I've been able to personally test and use everything that I promote (physical and digital). Some people will go for a hardline and say they won't promote what they can't try; but there are situations where it is OK not to (let's say you are promoting a 10k watch, do you really want to throw down on that?), at least in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I'm glad you mostly try them out. I admit to throwing a few out that I haven't tried, and generally don't feel good on that. I suppose if you are familiar with the type of products that are produced from someone it's less of a big deal, OR if the copy is very straight forward.

But from all the emails I get, I often wonder how many actually end up trying them before trying to sell them.

Yes I try every single one of them. Test them to the point of profit .. but then again I promote my own stuff lol.

I will always try something and test it out before recommending something. I always remind myself that somebody is on my list because they know like and trust me.

They also are looking for a solution to their problems and if I recommend a product which does not deliver then I have mislead that person.

Every subscriber is a real person and they want help.

Great question and I am glad to see everybody respond with a similar positive response.

Not sure it is necessary, but I always do either personally try the products or have first-hand input from a handful of my advisory group - for me that adds credibility, makes marketing much simpler and adds naturally to my other product and service based offerings.
