Press Releases for Amazon Product Reviews?

Hi,

I'm buiding an Amazon Product Review Site in a particular power tool niche.

I want to grow this site to about 50 high quality written unique product reviews.
Further I have many niche related articles on this site.

Now I want to use an outsourcer to promote my site by writing and distributing press releases on a regular basis.

Because I'm relatively new to press releases, I have the following question:

Can press releases also be used to promote an actual product review post on my site?
And, is it possible to write a good press release for these kinds of product review posts?

    Both can be effective if posted in the right pace... Reviews will be posted on your site while press release should be submitted to PR directories. The 2 have different functions...

    Yes, press release can generally be used for promoting product review but you have to write it in a "newsy" style. Do selling here.

    With press releases, it's good to check the submission site. Paid press releases always best free ones. The free ones will not have the same power as the paid ones.
